| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I can see a revisit to the Taka Michinoku v. HHH match where, thanks to HHH, everyone and their mother actually thought Taka was going to WIN THE WWF TITLE until out of nowhere after getting his ass handed to him by a 5'6" Japanese jobber, HHH finally got the Pedigree and beat him. I see the same thing here. It will actually get Jericho over in a way, because the fans will get SO behind Maven that they'll be legitimately pissed when that son of a bitch Jericho beats him by having his feet on the ropes. Actualy, though, this makes sense from a storyline standpoint. First off, Maven never really got eliminated from the Rumble, so you can understand him wanting a title shot (ok, well maybe I'm stretching, but you know). But, what makes more sense is that Taker came out and destroyed the Rock on Smackdown for no reason other than to help out Jericho who doesn't want to face the Rock again. But why would Taker want to help Y2J? Maybe because Jericho promised him THIS favor in return. If they follow that storyline, it actually makes sense Jericho gave him a title shot. Plus, the theory that Jericho is such a wuss that he gives Maven a title shot right away, but a guy like Steve Austin has to beat two guys in a mini tournament just to get there is a nice peice of character development.
