Well, it looks like this is gonna happen in the next 2 weeks, so my question is, if you had to come up with a list of people who are in/have been in the WWF or NWO before, where would you put them, in the WWF, or the NWO? Here are my lists, with stars next to the ones who arent actually signed to a contract yet, but would be nice to see them in the fed.

WWF:
Flair
Austin
Rock
HHH
Kane
DDP
RVD
Booker T
Rakishi
Goldust
Ken Shamrock*
Rhyno
Edge
Tazz
Spike
Chris Benoit
Hurricane Helms
Tajiri
APA
Hardys
Dudleys
Chavo
Hugh Morrus
Scotty 2 Hotty
Albert
Godfather
Maven
Al Snow
Tommy Dreamer
Kidman
Rey Mysterio Jr.*

NWO:
Vince McMahon
Eric Bischoff*
Hulk Hogan
Kevin Nash
Scott Hall
Undertaker
Big Show
Jeff Jarrett* (i know he and Vince dont get along, but he cant be a face)
Bret Hart* (would prove to be the biggest scam of them all)
Kurt Angle
Y2J
Scott Steiner*
Christian
Test
HBK
Mr. Perfect
Val Venis
Lance Storm
XPac
Bossman
Billy and Chucky
Saturn
Shawn Stasiak
Regal
Raven
David Flair*

It would be 34 to 27, in favor of WWF, and there is some room for switching some guys around. If they went this route i think it would be good.

What made the nWo start getting bad in WCW? When they started adding everybody and their mother to the group, and they all sucked. The Black and White nWo with people like Stevie Ray, Vincent, Scott Norton, Konnan, etc..

When the nWo comes in, its going to be an elite group of a few. You know you will have McMahon, Hall, Nash, Hogan, and a few others. Anything more will not work.

I dont think Val Venis is nWo 4 life

LMAO. Youre totally right FB, but i just put all these people in these groups because they are just too many wrestlers to ignore right now. And all of them cant be in the WWF, or else the NWO realistically would have no chance. IF you have just the big stars in the NWO now, with all the wrestlers that the WWF has, it would just be the Young Blood vs the Millionaires Club all over again, and that was a disaster.

I really don't see the nWo being that big this time around. They'll have maybe 5 or 6 members (not including Vince or Bischoff) tops.

Ok, if you agree with the idea that the NWO should only be for a few elite people, how's this for a list, and also the list of the main WWF guys that would fight them.

NWO:
Hulk Hogan
Kevin Nash
Scott Hall
Undertaker
Big Show
Y2J
Kurt Angle
Scott Steiner

Led by Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff

WWF:
Steve Austin
The Rock
HHH
Booker T
DDP
RVD
Kane
Edge

Led by Ric Flair and Bret Hart

Now that would be extremely entertaining to watch, and could provide for numerous storylines.

Why on earth do you have Bret Hart's name on that list? Granted storyline wise it'd make sense for him to go up against Vince, but realistically dont think it'll ever happen.

steve, you are right, there pretty much is no way that Bret will be back, mainly because he is involved with the WWA right now. But a few years ago, even as close as a few months ago, there supposedly was NO WAY that Hogan would be in the WWF again. All i am saying is that anything truly can happen, and i put him on the list because i would want him to be there, that's all.

True, but two things, if I may:

1) Despite their falling out after Hogan joined WCW, he and McMahon deep down realized that each owed the other a great deal. McMahon made Hogan a mainstream icon, and Hogan, frankly, made McMahon and the WWF a lot of money. Right now, McMahon is desperate to keep the money flowing in, and Hogan is desperate to keep his name fresh in people's minds.

2) I don't think Bret Hart is in any hurry to work for the man he personally holds responsible for the death of his baby brother.

I still don't see the need to bring back the NWO, but whatever. The way I see it right now, obviously, is that Vince will be the "leader" of the faction. Hall, Nash, and Hogan will all be in. Undertaker will most likely hitch a ride. I can also possibly see them trying to recreate the shock of Hogan's turn from Bash at the Beach, by turning one of their own long-time faces. And who are the candidates? Well, Austin's turned four times in the past year, not exactly a long-time face. HHH has really only been a face for 3 weeks, and the fans don't seem to be buying into it as much as WWF management has hoped, so a turn by him wouldn't be much of a shock. Nope, the only logical choice for the "big NWO turn" is The Rock. It could work, if the execution is done properly...

So we have NWO v2002 looking like McMahon, Hall, Nash, Hogan, Undertaker, and Rock. Only problem is, The Rock is the only one who would be willing to do jobs on a regular basis. Which means most likely, they're going to add some B-Team members to do the dirty work while the A-Team soaks up all the glory. As it looks right now, they seem to be setting up Mr. Perfect, Val Venis, and possibly Bossman as the initial NWO jobbers. Throw in X-Pac, since he's still accociated with the original NWO (and he'll be protected by big brothers Hall and Nash), and I think we've got it.

    NWO
  • Vince McMahon
  • Scott Hall
  • Kevin Nash
  • Hulk Hogan
  • The Undertaker
  • The Rock
  • X-Pac
  • Mr. Perfect
  • Val Venis
  • Bossman

But this leaves a big problem. On Flair's side, the only main event faces would be HHH and Austin. After that, there's RVD, Kane, Rikishi, Edge, and Big Show. Not exactly a strong lineup. You'd get Austin and HHH dominating NWO B-Teamers, while the rest job to NWO A-Teamers in awful matches. Not exactly Sports Entertainment at it's finest.

Another possibility is, they could turn Angle, Jericho, Test, and Booker T face to join Flair and company in the fight against the NWO, but that would only lead to more apathy from the fans, because as the Invasion proved, too many turns for little or no reason only serve to piss off and confuse the fans.

Ah, who am I kidding, this angle is a huge clusterfuck waiting to happen. I just don't see how it can be booked smoothly given the egos involved, the current face-heel structure, and the relationship the WWF currently has with its fanbase. Shit, the Invasion might look like a happy memory compared to this...

Triple H was pushed as a babyface for the past few weeks because everyone was so happy that he was back. It is now time for him to return to heel status. The best way to get him back on track is the new nWo, and they should start the Clique back up.

HHH will still be face for a while because with the divorce angle with Stephanie, he will be cheered and she will be booed and jeered.

They might turn him after Wrestlemania but not until than.

I see the NWO asking him to join and him turining them down and him becoming their major target along with Austin and the Rock. I see a match down the line of Scott Hall, HUlk Hogan and Kevin nash vs Austin, Rock and HHH.

hall, nash, hogan, hbk, xpac and jericho...that will be the nwo. if they add more, well it is just a watered down piece of crap. people will be ok with this group. and if i remember, it was only like 3 or so people killing all of the wcw for a long time before they added too many members to the nwo, and ruining the angle.

The nwo big 3 vs. rock, austin, and HHH should have been the original main even last year (switch angle though for the injured HHH) and the invasion angle would have been a complete success. But I agree with Skitchr, keep it to those 6. Best way to bring back hbk though would be to have him run in during the big 3 on 3 at wrestlemania, only time i'd actually wanna see a big match end that way.

Didn't the nWo form because they wanted to take over WCW? Well, isn't that why Vince is bringing them in? To take over the WWF? It looks like Vince is copying a storyline here... My NWO would be like this:

-Vince
-Scott Hall
-Kevin Nash
-Hulk Hogan
-Triple H
-X-Pac
-Shane
-Booker T
-Scott Steiner
