OF all of the hype 'bout nWo, Hall Nash and Hogan, What 'bout Sting or Luger? How or where would these guys fit anywhere? Stinger was anti nWo and Luger was part of nWo red and black. These guys were top talent (in my opinion) and have the right to be back in the mix. I mean if they are bringin Hulk back at what at least 55 then why not Luger or Sting? Just wondering where some other talent is and where they may be going. What do ya think?

Sting has professed that he has no desire to work for the WWF.

As far as Lex Luger goes... He and the WWF parted on bad terms when he left so I highly doubt you will see him back.

Although...This is the WWF and as they say.. "Anything is possible in the WWF"

i liked sting when he first came back with the white facepaint, but towards the end of wcw i got tired of him. it would be KICK ASS for him to just drop out of the rafters on RAW or a ppv one day out of no where. that would be a good way to debut him if he ever did come back.

After the whole Owen Hart incident, I don't think anyone will ever be dropping from the rafters again.

i would also love to see sting again, but i am staying with my intital thought that he won't come to the wwf, and let people remember him for the greatness he had while wcw's franchise

just to settle any doubts about sting's return...

Sting Announces Retirement From Pro-Wrestling
Posted By Ashish on 02.09.02

In an interview with the "Get A Grip" Newsletter (which is run by Ted DiBiase), Sting stated that he is in retirement from wrestling and plans to stay in retirement. He added that it would take a lot to get him out of retirement, saying that wrestling is too raunchy now. Sting, now 40 years old, remains under contract to AOL Time Warner and is making 7 figures a year, although that deal does expire soon.

Do you think Sid will sign with the federation once his leg is back to normal? I think he would be a good addition, as for Sting, I'm glad he retired, I didn't really like him, and I think there are too many guys coming in from WCW anyway, all of the young talent will be overshadowed in this whole nWo agnle.

Why? It's better than seeing the Ultimate Warrior wrestle again.

No, it'd be about the same. Neither has much ring skill, and both have the tendency to disappear when things aren't going their way. Sid would be better off on the indy circuit or the softball field, depending on the season, and Warrior is better off forgotten.

stings wife became a born again christian and he followed her. she told him that he had to confess all his sins so he told her that he'd had several affairs during his wrestling career. she proceeded in phoning all the wrestlers and telling them that sting had had one night stands with several of their wives, making him very unpopular in the dressing room.

thats what i heard anyway......

I thought we were talking about wrestling, not gay pr0n. And people wonder why wrestling fans get a bad rep...

Anyway, staying on topic, I hope Sting is serious about his retirement. He really has nothing more to give to wrestling, and will never again be half as good as he was in his prime. Which still wasn't anything spectacular, but whatever...

FTL is not to blame for this abomination of a sig pic.

I've always been a Sting mark, and I always will be. Mock me if you will, but he was one of the first wrestlers who actually got me interested in the business to begin with.

I want him to retire for a very different reason - I shudder to think of how Vince would fuck around with him if he did sign with the WWF. Last thing I want is to see one of my wrestling heroes have to job to the Undertaker's horse-faced whore (I will NEVER forgive them, DDP).

If you even joke about bringing sid back, I'm beating your ass with a hose. He was in the wwf countless times and did nothing, NOTHING I say. Why the fuck would it be any different this time? Im with se7en, I was a huge Sting fan back when he was cool. The match him and Flair had at the first "clash of the champions" is still one of the best matches of all time, in my opinion. And the angle with him and Hogan that went on for 6-8 months had to be one of the best in recent history. But towards the end they didn't seem to know what to do with him. He's wrestled everyone in wcw 500 or so times so it looked to me that they just found someone else who had white face paint, vampiro, and decided to book them together. The end came when vampiro put him on fire and threw him off the scaffold. That's when I knew sting's career was over, well that and "The Real Reason (Men Commit Crimes)"

Sometimes our choices are made for us.
And sometimes we have no choice at all.
