Wow, other than the NWO, that PPV sucked!

Will you quit it? You're not supposed to fucking agree with me, remember? :D

Well, I must say that I'm really happy about how wrong I was about the NWO. Really shocked that not only did they do the whole show, but they even debuted on Heat. The WWF started them off right.... start the countdown till they get boring. I say before Wrestlemania.

They also set up two big WM-speculated matches, Rock/Hogan and Austin/Hall. And yeah, Hall's beer comment, then Nash (edit: the fuck was I thinking?) and Hogan telling him no.... holy shit was that ever a classic. I'll be getting a tape of the PPV and making an MPEG of that as soon as I can. Of course, I'll share. :)

Eh, unfortunately, that's where the good in this PPV ended. The matches fuckin sucked, which we all knew would happen going into the night. This PPV was really thrown together badly and I don't think there was a single match I gave a crap about.

Oh well...

Why did Hall keep using Austin's stunner at the end?

N.W.O. PPV was a disappointment. The only highlights where the Hall drinking Beer comment with NASH/HOGAN holding him back saying no. and the ROCK NWO segment calling them their old WWF names.
I hope this NWO angle improves or we're in for more stale shows.

what a dissapointing PPV! It started out great, who woulda thought they wuolda opened with the N.W.O. I didnt think Hogan woulda gotten the pop from the crowd that he did. After that the whole shit sank. The tag team turmoil match was alright, but I cant see the WM18 PPV match being the APA vs Spike Dudley and Tazz.Best match of the night in my opinion was RVD vs Golddust. I didnt think it woulda went the way that it did.Even with RVD missing the turnbuckle it was still a great match. Every other match after that was ok. Nothing really exciting happend. And gee.....who didint see the NWO coming out to attack Austin. Woulda been better if they jumped Jericho too. I was looking for a Hogan big boot to the face and the greatest finishing manuever this side of the WORM.....the big leg drop. Oh well.......

I was disappointed and satisfied at the same time. Glad to see my favorite group of all time back, the nWo. But what an awful PPV. The only good match was Goldust vs RVD, which had a crappy ending (not really climatic, but good). The rest of the matches were boring, the tag team turmoil was decent, The Outsiders/Hogan were good in their brief time on camera.

The best part of the Pay Per View was the Rock making fun of Hall, Nash, and Hogan. Is anyone else bothered by Wrestlemania being on St. Patrick's Day? Someone's going to wake me up the next day to tell me who won.

He wanted a picture taken of him with Rocky for his kid, so Hall takes the pic, Rock is man about it, and after the pic Hogan mutters "so much for the people's taste's", or something like that - upon hearing this, Rocky then goes into his instant-classic-of-a-promo demeaning each of them to their original WWF personas (the "beep beep" on Diesel was fucking priceless!)

That pretty much sucked. i should have just watched Indiana Jones last night like i was going to. maybe if Steph showed alittle more rack, it would have been better..

And what the hell was in Razor Ramon's hair? He looks like a fucking fairy.

I think maybe at wrestlemania, there will be a three on three match.. nwo vs Rock, Austin, and a third person. HHH maybe? Godfather????? :)

The PPV was a disappointment no doubt, (but a pleasant surprise in Angle's win, though I'm not sure if his title shot is lasting past tonight's Raw when Flair has his say and books another match probably) but the return of the nWo was handled just perfectly. I was thinking they might have interfered in three or four matches (the top three matches and then a couple others maybe just to be dicks) , which would have been overkill and probably burnt them out in the first day. Instead, they just had their CLASSIC promo to start things off and interfered in the main event ONLY to give the fans EXACTLY what they wanted without overdoing them. And just to make sure nobody would be dissapointed with the LACK of nWo in the middle, they put them in those backstage skits to quench the nWo thirst alot of people had in the middle of the show.

I like that they are at least explaining to the non-internet saavy fans FINALLY why the nWo is bad news, by showing that they don't get along with wrestlers and are lying, deceitful guys who will say anything to suck up to the top guys, like they did to Austin and the Rock. They need to explain this stuff because not that many wrestling fans are "smarts." (ICK. I used that term. Shoot me.) The NEXT step though, is for them to make fun of the short midcarders to show that they only suck up to the main eventers and try to kill everyone else's career. THEN their characters are complete.

When the nWo came out, the sound was absolutely deafening inside the Bradley Center. I was expecting at the very least a mixed reaction (like there was whenever the nWo ads were shown on the monitors) but when those three actually came out in the beginning, everyone was just freaking out. What really surprised me were the "Hogan" chants, as well as the amount of fans there with old-school Hulkamania merchandise.

The matches weren't too bad, except for the final portion of the tag team turmoil match (is it me, or were they really zooming through that match until the second Farooq and Bradshaw got in the ring?). Edge vs Regal was another plodding yawn. Rock vs UT was OK, but, again, the fans' energy level during this match was amazing.

The most fun came during the set-up to the HHH-Angle match and the match itself. My section apparently decided to play "Screech Along with Steph" during the promos. During the match itself, we kept it up ("Like my shirt? My dad picked it out!" "No, no, don't drag me away! I've only been out there FIVE MINUTES!" "I can't count any faster! My tit will explode if I do!"). Even though the ending was so gawddamn predictable, it was fun.

All in all, I don't feel too poorly about being out the price of a ticket, but the PPV didn't make me want to rush out to the next show.

You know what Cluster, If you dont like it, then you know what, do us all a favor and change the channel and dont watch. All I hear is criticism of this and that, if you dont like it, dont watch!!!!!

FB, you got me with that one, i know ive said that to others in the past. :) I didnt go into the whole thing expecting it to suck however, if i did that, why even watch it? But, now that it was lame, i commented on it. Yes i know ive complained about people not liking the product they were watching. But it was different because those same people predict the PPV will suck before it even starts. To me, that makes the whole idea of watching it kind of dumb. Do i expect tonight to suck? Hell no, i actually think this RAW will be great. It has to be because the PPV wasnt that great at all.

You know when a PPV is subpar when during the last match, the friends i was with (including me) were asking each other trivia questions about real sports, and asking who the Knicks should trade for.
