- The WWF appears to be ready to sign Rey Misterio Jr. to a contract in April. The XWF, which is also interested in acquiring his services, has pushed the idea to Misterio that the WWF won't know how to push him. However, Misterio has told friends that he would be willing to go to the WWF as long as the federation pushes the cruiserweight division. On the flip side, there is some talk that Misterio Jr. has somewhat hurt his chances with the WWF by continually calling the WWF office once a week looking for updates on his status.

- WWA officials are contemplating with the idea of bringing in Terry Taylor or Ed Ferrera to work the Gorilla Position at the upcoming PPV.

- WWA officials also state that their last PPV did about 37,000 buys while people close to the cable industry claim that the number is closer to 15,000 to 20,000.

- Cruiserweights working the WWA shows have been paid roughly $300 per show, which is more or less on par to that of a normal indy show.

- Stevie Ray was one wrestler who was upset that WWA management did not contact him to inform that he would not be part of the upcoming PPV.

- XWF officials have apparently told many wrestlers that the USA network has become a front runner as far as securing a television home goes. Officials have also stated they are considering offers from Turner Broadcasting.

- Jerry Lawler told friends that the XWF paid him $12,000 for the two days that they needed him, which would be a substantial increase over what he was earning on the indy scene at that time ($1000 per show).

- Scott Hall is already in the WWF doghouse over incidents from the past two weeks. It all started on February 11th when the nWo showed up in Las Vegas. Hall apparently made a complete spectacle of himself and had to be dragged into his hotel room to keep him from getting into more trouble. It embarassed management, specifically those officials who had previously supported the WWF's decision to re-hire him.

- The next day in Los Angeles, Steve Austin apparently told or suggested to management that it was worthless to start a program with Hall for Wrestlemania since he would probably not even be in the company by the time the show rolled around. Other wrestlers have also reportedly approached management with concerns about working with Hall.

- Also in Los Angeles while Hall, Nash and Hogan did some production work and got to meet the crew, Hall walked up to the Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray in particular) and said something to the effect of "That's a great move you have; I can't wait to kick out of it". Hogan and Nash were said to be on the best behaviors.

- Some WWF officials are saying that Hall's status within the company is now only a "day-to-day" thing with some even saying that he is just one incident away from being released. (Sidenote: As reported before, the WWF is still going ahead by tentatively planning Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall for Wrestlemania. However, if by chance Scott Hall is not with the company in a month, they will put Nash into Hall's place as Austin's opponent.)

I thought that I read somewhere that Hogan was part owner of the XWF, if that is true, then why would they try to sign Misterio? Not saying that this info is wrong, I was just wondering. I think that I read that in Prowrestling Ill. Not sure 100%. let me know.
