Brock Lesnar vs Matt Hardy is a joke. Last week, both Hardys hit him in the head with steel chairs and he didnt go down. Matt better come out with a 12 gauge shotgun in order for the match to have any semblance of a real match. I have $20 on the fact that Lita goes up for her Litacanrana (sp?), Brock catches her and powerbombs her.

You know it will basically be a 3 on 1 with Matt, Jeff and Lita vs Brock. I agree with you. I definitely see Lita going for a ride.

Of course that will happen, hence them playing up the neck injury.

This PPV will be decent. No doubt Tajiri vs. Kidman will be the best match of the night because any Cruiserweights could out-wrestle any of the beloved Main Eventers. One thing I don't get is how Lita is always interfering in matches when the Hardies are the faces. Aren't the heels supposed to be the ones to cheat? Anyway, Lesnar will kill Hardy to get noticed. Anyone else think Lesnar might join the nWo in his first match at Backlash? That would be pretty cool, also, hopefully HHH turns heel and joins the nWo. His speech on Raw made him seem like the heel IMO.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives:

2. Hate the Braves with a passion

3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year

harry, when did they make the change? i haven't read the spoilers yet so i suppose it was mentioned then but...i think hall and bradshaw should be a good match, but the interference will give hall the win, so hence, nwo is the correct answer

oh and fucking give me a break, let fucking molly wrestle jazz so we get a fucking MATCH in the womens division...if i have to watch trish butcher another move i may puke!

Undisputed Championship
-Triple H (c) vs. Hulk Hogan
Winner: HHH. After Jericho comes in and helps HHH and beats down Hogan.

#1 Contender's Match
(Special Referee: Ric Flair)
-Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker
Winner: Undertaker after Ric Flair accidentally helps Undertaker beat Austin. I say he hits Austin with a chair while going for the Undertaker. Undertaker makes Austin famous and Flair counts Austin out. This continues the subtle feud between Austin and Flair.

Intercontinental Championship
-Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero
Winner: RVD in the match of the night

Cruiserweight Championship
-Billy Kidman (c) vs. Tajiri
Winner: Billy Kidman after Torrie Wilson turns on Tajiri

Tag-Team Championship
-Billy & Chuck (c) vs. Al Snow & Maven
Winners: Billy and Chuck with help from Rico

Tag-Team Match
Bradshaw vs. Scott Hall
Winner: Scott Hall with help from XPac

Singles Match
-Brock Lesnar vs. Matt Hardy
Winner: Brock Lesnar by disqualification after he powerbombs Lita and Matt and Jeff hit their finishing moves. That doesn't work so they take turns hitting him with chairs. This feud has to continue for a little bit. Brock will win and look invinceible but he can't do it convincingly.

Singles Match
-Kurt Angle vs. Edge
Winner: Kurt Angle in a hard fought match. Might be the match Chris Benoit comes back for. Angle vs Benoit feud anyone.

According to tonight's Smackdown, Lesnar's going up against Jeff Hardy now. I'm assuming they're listing Matt Hardy as injured after the beating he took from Brock on Raw.

my predictions

hhh: jericho will interfere causing a hogan jericho feud that will keep the both of them away from the title for a while

taker(unless hhh turns heel the it will be austin):
basically another face vs face feud will not work very well

RVD:(unless the ross report tells us that rvd's knee is more serious than thought) they cant give eddie the title already

kidman: he just got the title so he'll win( something big is going to happen in this match)

billy and chuck: the san fransisco connection is getting a push so it looks like they will retain the titles

trish: who cares, as long as a tit pops out(not jazz)

hall: i hope they dont let bradshaw win he sucks ass, hopefully x pac gets a closeline from hell at some point and breaks his neck

brock: total death to the hardys, annihilation. maybe after the match Paul E will tear litas panties off and start sniffing them again

angle,edge: whatever it's a piss break match

WHAT???? Are you out of your mind? Angle and Edge will be the second best match of the night behind RVD and Eddie. Please remove your head from Vince's ass and see greatness when it is before you, not when you are told it is great (like hogan)

My predictions:

Main event: HHH

#1 Contender: IF HHH goes heel, Austin, if not Taker

Intercontinental: RVD

Cruiserweight: Kidman ( need to give title credibility, he'll hold it for awhile and don't be suprised to see Ray Mysterio Jr. do a run in. He has supposedly been signed and is waiting to debut.)

Tag Team: Gonna go with Snow/Maven (WWF needs to get Maven as over as they can before winners of season 2 are announced)

Hall/Bradshaw: Hall (The NWO needs to win a few big matches to build up credibility as a legitimate threat to the WWF, Blah blah, blah....)

Brock/ Jeff: Brock destroys Jeff, Lita & Matt

Angle/Edge : Jericho will do a run in here. The other thing to consider is an apperance by Benoit at the PPV. Apparently Jericho wasn't given a match because the WWF thought Benoit might get cleared in time. He is already at OHV training lightly and taking light bumps, so a run in might not be that far fetched. If he does a run-in it goes to edge, if not it goes to Angle

angle vs edge is a piss break match im my opinion because, they have done it like eight thousand times already on tv. if they would have added a creative stipulation like cage, HIAC, or street fight it would totally change things. but they really already played this feud out.

Predictions...which mean absolutely squat.

HHH vs Hogan
Winner (unfortunately): HHH...who will join the NWO after Hall and XPunk beat up Hogan.

RVD vs Eddy Guerrero
Winner: RVD in a great match...too soon to give Guerrero the IC title.

Undertaker vs Austin
Winner: Undertaker, due to Flair knocking out Austin.

Billy and Chuck vs Maven and Al Snow
Winners: Billy and Chuck...at least it better be for the tag team division's sake.

Tajiri vs Kidman
Winner: Kidman, although who knows what could happen here. Rey Mysterio could show up and help Kidman win.

Brock Lesnar vs Jeff Hardy
Winner: Brock Lesnar, and thank god he is wrestling a guy who can take the bumps and make Brock look even more impressive than he already is.

Kurt Angle vs Edge
Winner: Edge by DQ because of Jericho's interference. Marks the return of Chris Benoit as well. I really would like to see Kurt destroy Edge though.

Scott Hall vs Bradshaw
Winner: Scott Hall, if the NWO wants any kind of credibility, Hall must win the match.

Spike vs Regal
Winner: There are no winners in this horrendous match. Hopefully the mat somehow swallows them whole and we never see either of them again. Spike will retain though unfortunately :(

Jazz vs Trish
Winner: Trish, because how many more times can she lose to Jazz anyway?

BTW...why the hell isnt Booker T, Y2J, Test, DDP, Christian, or the Hardcore champion, Buh Buh Ray Dudley, on the card? Ponderous, f'n ponderous.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives:
1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year
2. Hate the Braves with a passion
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
4. Mets win World Series

Time for predictions.

HHH (c) vs. HHH (Undisputed Championship)
Hmm....Well, honestly, if there was ever a time to put the title on Hogan, it's now. I know that for some odd reason he's getting mega face heat, but I can't explain that and thus I feel that it can't last forever.....can it? Trips has failed as a face, Hogan is over as a face.....I say, use up Hogan while you can. Have Hogan win the title here, have Trips turn into a monster heel, at the next PPV you have Hogan vs. Undertaker or Austin (either, conceivably, a "money match", and while I hate to say it because it gives Hogan his props, either match would be infinitely more compelling than seeing a heel Taker or a face Austin fight HHH for the belt). From there, you could have him drop the belt back to a heel Trips, perhaps at KoR.
However, all of that said, Trips is banging the head booker, so even though he's not over and his workrate is crappy now, he'll still retain.

Austin vs. Undertaker (#1 Contender match)
Tough to call.....it could go either way. They could have Taker win, so that he could fight Trips at the next PPV (and give him the main event angle he's been whining for). Or they could go with Trips / Austin again, or they could put the belt on Hogan, and give us a Hogan / Austin match, which despite myself I'd be very interested to see.....ah screw it, I'll say Austin wins, because he's the top thing about the fairly abysmal RAW roster, and they'll need him to feud with the champ in order to give that show some heat.

RVD vs. Eddy Guerrero (for IC title)
This could (and probably will) be the best match on the card. RVD should retain to keep the feud going.

Kidman vs. Tajire (for Cruizerweight Title)
Tajire works good as a heel, but they need Kidman to win here to give him an edge. Having him beat Tajire to retain the belt (and acquire Torrie as his valet as a result) would further that cause.

Red Tights Party (aka the AGD) vs. Tuff Enuff (Tag Titles)
The tag scene is TOTALLY in shambles, as can be seen by this match. The division needs a kick in the ass, but putting the belts on Snow / Maven isn't my idea of getting the job done. Billy & Chuck retain thanks to help from Rico.

Hall vs. Bradshaw
This is the piss break here. Bradshaw is a HOSS, BY GAWD, so I expect him to win as the most confusing / frustrating push of yet another midcarder who doesn't deserve it continues. When much more talented men such as Booker T or Chris Jericho do NOT have a match on the PPV and yet Bradshaw does, there's a problem. Oh well, at least Hall should be used in the one function he's still good for - putting over other talent.

Brock "Insert the name of animal which JR will refer to him as at least 18 times during the match HERE" Lesnar vs. Jeff Hardy
Hell, I'm considering ordering the PPV for this match alone, just to see Lesnar pull a Goldberg and squash the Hardys but good. Lita has a sprained neck, so I probably won't get the joy of Lesnar killing her as she attempts a rana on him.

Kurt Angle vs. Edge
Hopefully this will be the blowoff so that Kurt can move on to bigger and better things. Edge's face turn has NOT worked, at all, so it's time to move him out of the high-midcard and have him feud with guys like Test (unless you think that Test's Mark Henry feud will light the WWF on fire). Or reunite him & Christian, and thus ensure that there's at least one good tag team in the promotion. I'm gonna predict that Angle wins, although they'll probably take the back way out and have him cheat to win.

Spike Dudley vs. William Regal (European Title)
The joke is over - take the belt of Spike, and give it back to Regal. Then every RAW, have Regal defend the belt much like he did with the TV title back in WCW, by giving him at least 6 or 7 minutes (minimum) to let him wrestle HIS style (instead of the punch - kick crap that infests so much of the WWF these days). And let him be stiff with his opponents, because he enjoys it so. Do all this, and the world will be a much brighter place.

WWF Title
HHH vs. HHH

Winner: Hunter wins by DQ and turns heel in the process. This is all because Hunter turning heel means he'll have to win, but I don't think they want Hogan to job AGAIN, so I think the shmozz is in order, which will make sense in the context of a heel turn. I first thought the nWo would join him, but after the last couple week's programming and the fact that the nWo is in shambles, I now feel Jericho and maybe Angle will join forces with him and interfere to cause the DQ after which they will triple team the Ageless Wonder and HHH will show his true colors. The DQ wouldn't be as bad an ending if they add the HHH heel surprise at the end. I just can't see either man getting pinned here, though, cuz it makes no sense either way, not to mention the added politics of both men.

No. 1 Contenders Match
Austin vs. Undertaker

Winner: Austin with help from Flair, making a good first face opponent for the re-turned HHH, and then they can FINALLY settle the rivalry they started in May the night HHH got hurt. Hey, one can dream, right? Seriously, though, I think Austin HAS to get the title shot, because it can be a great catalyst for the Austin-Flair feud that Ric helped him get the title shot, and Austin STILL hates him. Flair and Taker can then have their blowoff at Judgment Day with Flair coming out on top since this feud has been so godamned one-sided thus far in favor of Taker.

IC Title
RVD vs. Eddie Guerrero

Winner: RVD. Should be a real fun match, as the pothead faces the alcoholic to see who's drug problem will be overcome in this battle of wills. Of course, the net geeks love these two guys, so you won't see them get as much shit as, say, Scott Hall, because if fat virgins with bad mullets like Scott Keith like you, it don't matter if you're Darryl Strawberry, nobody's giving you flack for nuttin'!

Edge vs. Kurt Angle

Winner: Who gives a shit? I hope Angle, but I feel Edge. So, I say: Edge. They coulda made this feud LESS enthralling, you know. I mean, Christ, Angle has been much more concerned with Hogan and HHH leading up to this than Edge.

Cruiserweight Title
Tajiri vs. Kidman

Winner: Kidman, and then he joins with the hot piece of ass he's banging in real life, Torrie Wilson. Remember, next time you feel this guy is getting underpushed, think about what he sleeps next to every night. There ya go. I bet you hope he becomes a member of Kai En Tai now and gets buried on Metal, don't you!

Euro Title
Regal vs. Spike

Winner: Spike. William Regal: another wrestler with a drug past who gets less shit than Hall unfairly. Not that I'm DEFENDING Hall, but geez, what a bunch of hypocrites the geek fanboys are. Oh yeah, and he'll lose at Backlash, too. Hopefully, he'll feel up and vomit on a stewardess again on the flight back after the show and then the WWF can fire him and then he can stop boring the shit out of us!

Bradshaw vs. Scott Hall

Winner: Scott Hall. God help us all if Bradshaw wins. I could say something about Hall's post-match celebration, but I'm being nice to him today, remember?

Tag Team Title
Billy/Chuck vs. Al Snow/Maven

Winners: The two gay men. Oh wait, that's not specific enough. Chuck and Billy. There we go.

Brock Lesnar vs. Jeff Hardy

Winner: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! You actually don't know yet?

Jazz vs. Trish

Winner: Jazz cuz Jazz wins alot.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives:
1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year
2. Hate the Braves with a passion
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
4. Mets win World Series
5. Hopefully come up with a better name for the Crack Commitee than something the Mad Dog came up with. Come on!
