Or was that not a PPV and on closed circuit like the first one, therefore making them right on a technicality? Eh, who gives shit. BTW, having a PPV at the Colisseum SUCKS. I don't know if there is a worse, more comatose crowd that just sits on it's hands than the Nassau Colisseum crowd. Everytime they have a Raw there, the crowd is dead, and now Long Island is going to bring it's boringness in terms of wrestling fandom to the #2 (or 3, depends on what you think of the Rumble) PPV of the year? AWFUL. Why don't they just go to the Garden? Those crowds are great and hell, it's not like they'll be using it for anything til hockey season starts in October, so they could start setting up the ring now. 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year 4. Mets win World Series 5. Hopefully come up with a better name for the Crack Commitee than something the Mad Dog came up with. Come on!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: Nope they are not wrong. As said above they are technically correct as Wrestlemania 2 was not a Pay Per View. It was on Closed Circuit TV. I remember actually going to the Nassau Coliseum for Wrestlemania 3 to watch it on the screens. It was pretty cool. I remember the big pop in the building when Steamboat pinned Savage.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | quote: Sorry, but I do have to disagree here. I remember the original Wrestlemania was on Closed Circuit and I missed that one, but I do recall watching WM2 on TV either at my house or my cousin's so it had to be on PPV. ***EDIT*** Got this directly from Wrestlemania.com quote: Don't make me angry. O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | alright well then they did it both, because WM 2 and 3 were both on closed circuit as well. This will be the First Pay Per View to be held at the Nassau Coliseum, where the entire event will take place at the Nassau Coliseum. Ok now things are clear.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | quote: Do you really think the crowd is that different at the coliseum? True, its a shitty building, but I'd be willing to bet that 90% of the people that would go to the Garden for it would be able to make the trip to the Coliseum.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: Good you keep thinking that. That will be 1 less person to compete with trying to get tickets. Because this will sell out the day it goes on sale. And all televised events at Nassau sell out with the possible exception of the seats behind the Titantron on the side. And yeah the crowd at the Coliseum is essentialy the same crowd at the Garden, another misguided comment.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I know the Colisseum crowd in theory should be the same people, but have you EVER compared an event at the Colisseum to an event at the Garden and compare the crowd noise? I swear, the Nassau Colisseum crowds are TOTALLY dead. I don't know if it's because the Nassau Colisseum isn't properly miked like the Garden or what, but if you compared it, you would really notice the difference. The Colisseum shows come off REAL bad on TV cuz you hear no crowd noise. That doesn't mean it's not there, but you sure as hell don't hear it, on TV anyway. And, I mean, c'mon, let's face it, how much of the same crowd could it be? How many people blow their wad on both arenas when the WWF comes in for a tour around the Metro area? Especially with all the WWF fans in the area, I'd imagine there are quite a few who only go to one, and the ones who go to the Colisseum might just be a more family oriented crowd being in the suburbs and all, which is gonna be a hell of a lot less rabid. Ever think of that? 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year 4. Mets win World Series 5.
