I hope the WWF never holds another PPV in Kansas City. The crowd was totally lifeless, and seemed to snooze through most of the Hogan-HHH match as well. So Hulka Fossil wins the belt again and sets up a match with another lumbering old fool called The Undertaker. Either way, it's still better than having Jericho or HHH as champion.

Has anyone figured out why the NWO came down the aisle during the Stone Cold/Taker match and then just stood there? Has Hall been skipping AA meetings again? This PPV had zero drama, no passion, and no real surprises despite a very hefty pricetag.

Worst WWF PPV in years, brother.

by the way, I'm sticking with Tajiri-Billy Kidman as the best match of the night.

Gurrero-RVD was an outright bore. I think RVD was pretty much an auto-pilot due to his bad knees but even so...ugh. You've got to love the WWF for bringing back total pieces of shit and throwing them right back onto the top of the pile.

Tonight was horrible. I didnt think it could get any worse, but then an ancient artifact managed to win the World title....truly a sad day in wrestling :(

I defend the WWF sometimes on this site but FUCK did this ppv suck...I wound up watching that show on HBO Hookers At The Point which I had planned on watching but that ppv sucked really bad. The WWF made a big mistake when they went public on the stock market since then they have been going downhill cause now they have to answer to the stock owners. Vince should buy it all back and star back up the "Attitude" days to when they did not give a shit..

Dudes, Backlash sucked major balls. the only good match of the night was Angle Vs. Edge. which brings up the point that Angle is probably the best wrestler in the business today. but the bottom line is that no good storylines came out of this PPV and most of the matches were unwatchable. i tuned into jim bruers special on comedy central. it was that and porn for me tonight.
i think that the wwf needs shane o'mac back. he is always very entertaining to watch and he always does some crazy shit on PPV.

As of lately the WWF is turning me off watching wrestling...Backlash was garbage. I missed Six Feet Under and Hookers at the Point for that..

Tajiri vs Kidman, Angle vs Edge, Undertaker vs Austin, Brock Lesnar vs jeff hardy, RVD vs Guerrero, and the Jericho interivew were good. the rest sucked. How bad is the tag division.

So I guess when there is a PPV, there is no split. Vinny talking with Flair, The DUdleyz talking again. Faaroq coming down to help Bradshaw and Undertaker interfering in the HHH vs Hogan match.

Normally I'd sit here on Monday morning and argue about the PPV. And I'm not going to say it was horrible, but it was bad.

A few things I hated about last night:

#1-The fans. Where were the fans??? There was no fan reaciton AT ALL. I have never heard DEAD silence during a whole PPV. It was horrible.

#2-Tag Team Match. Thanx to the split, the tag divison has gone down hill.

#3-No Hardcore Match. This is what was missing last night. An insane hardcore match.

#4-Same chair 3 TIMES??? Did anyone else notice that the same EXACT thing happen in the Angle-Edge, Taker-Austin and HHH-Hogan match with that damn chair?? The only funny part was when he hit himself in the head with it.

#5-What is the big deal about Eddie Guerrero??? He is awful.

#6-Why was the nWo out there during the Taker-Austin fight when they didn't do ANYTHING???

Other than the all of that, this was no better than a typical Raw.

As for the split, I was confused about that too. They can't fight each other but they can interact and help each other. It made no sense to me.

Yea, Backlash kinda sucked ass. It was funny, I went to a friends house to watch it. He went to pick up some other people, so it was me and another guy. We were talking during the Kidman/Tajiri match. It was almost over when he looked at me and said, "Has the PPV started?" I said, "Yea, this is the first match." We looked at the TV, shrugged, and continued talking. Not a lot of interest in it.

You pretty much knew who was gonna win most of the matches. Jeff Hardy/Brock Lesnar? Was there even a shred of doubt as to who was gonna win this match? Plus a match like Hall/Bradshaw didn't hold a lot of interest for me, even though I like both guys.

Now we have an interesting scenario. Undertaker cost Triple H the title. But Undertaker is on RAW. Since Triple H lost, he will take Hogan's place on Smackdown. We know that Triple H is gonna want revenge and there will be a match down the road between them. It's gonna be interesting to see how they handle the angle with both men being on different shows.

I agree, most of the night sucked, but was anyone else besides me as throughly unimpressed by Brock Lesnar as I was? Yes, he hit a few powerbombs, but he didn't toss jeff hardy around nearly as much as I was expecting (hoping?) him to...and then to stop the match? wot kinda BS was that? I dunno...

Oh, you are right I would rather take away the belts from the guys that are wrestling today, and give them to the two oldest guys in the ring, so that we can see the awesome spectacle these guys are going to put on in the battle of the geriatrics.

Scouting. Taker and Austin are both on RAW, so now let's see if either of them get recruiting talks from Hall/Waltman.

Well, last time they had a ppv in Kansas City, one of the wrestlers went totally lifeless, so it's a step up, at least.

Fo shizza my nizza, is it ok to say nizza?

I haven't even thought about WWF in the last week. Someone post up the results cause I'm too lazy...

That has the potential to be the worst match in Attitude Chapter history, I don't think it can get any worse than that...

I wish they would give him somebody to wrestle already. Yeah, He's huge and he can beat up on smaller opponents.
What's the Hardys again? It's like when UT knocked them out of commission for weeks. Are they being taken of TV for a while again?

I think it's going to be a while before he gets anything but Squash Wins. His last opponent will end up being Big Show, where he will pick him up. You'll see it in 2 months. After that he'll join the nWo...Which will fuck his career over...
