What the hell is the WWF doing? Right from the get-go it sucked. Another shitty squash with Lesnar/Hardy, a pointless fight with HHH/Taker, pretty much because they can't meet on PPV till the Rumble and WrestleMania. A 5 second match with Regal/Stasiak. A fucking stupid promo from Booker and Goldust, yeah it was funny but what kind of Tag Team is Booker and Goldust going to make? Then they go out and wrestle a shitty match with the Dudleyz...And they add the piece of garbage to the nWo, the Big Show. It was a crappy match to add to that...

1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year

2. Hate the Braves with a passion

3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year

4. Mets win World Series!!!

I thought that the big show angle was great. Its adds a lot to the NWO angle with Nash gone and was completely unexpected. The Booker T and "Goldust Raped My Dad" thing does suck. The HHH and Undertaker segment adds to a good inter-show rivalry. It was a good raw and a bad raw and the same time. The regal/stasiak thing sucks because stasiak is given an awefull character. But the main points of the show were tremendous. It adds a lot to the storylines and mixed things up to the point where you have to watch next week to see the aftermath. It was a good raw.

I think it was a good Raw with bad parts in it.

Great-HHH attacking Taker. Didn't expect it and it was fucking awesome.
Awful-Regal/Stasiak...shorter than the Regal/Spike match.

Good-Diva Tag Team Match
Bad-Brock/Matt Hardy

Funny-Booker/Goldust Movie Review
Annoying-Eddie Guerreuo (sp?) doing commentary

Good Surprise-Big Show going over to the nWo
Bad Surprise-Kevin Nash popping up

Hiralous-Spike telling Bubba Ray to get the table
Stupid-Steven Richards trying to beat Bubba Ray for the Hardcore title with ONLY a garbage can cover.

Overall, up and down show. Wasn't shitty. But wasn't great either.

the HHH-Undertaker brawl totally saved the show and was the best thing that's happened on Raw since the Hogan-Rock confrontation a few months ago. Seeing the Undertaker have the shit beaten out of him by HHH more than overshadowed any crappy Brock Lesnar match or having to sit through Stasiak's awful acting. Enjoyed seeing Big Show turn heel as he was one of the most boring faces in the cast.

I loved it when HHH grabbed the sledge. Reminded me of the good old days of HHH. Seeing him beat the crap out of UT was priceless.
This Whole Stasiak thing should be dropped. How annoying and unproductive will that be?
Now that Lesnar has beat up the hardys, will they be of TV like last time when UT beat them all up?

that fight was the best thing to happen to HHH since he's been a part of the WWF,imho. seeing him beat the piss out of that scumbag for five minutes was just awesome - especially since The Undertaker has turned into such a tedious bore you can't help but want to see him get blasted in the face with a t.v.

So we learned from the split that on PPV's there can be interaction (Dudley's, APA, Undertaker screweing HHH, Flair and Vince) between Raw and Smackdown members and if you get screwed by someone on another show at the PPV, you are allowed to show up on the other show and kick the other guy's ass. I guess next month Angle or Jericho will show up on Raw.

I liked the Big Show turning NWO.

I swear it was this big

Surprisingly, Goldust beat Taz the exact same way.

I loved the Film Critic skit. When Goldust said BOO and you saw the people run, I was laughing hysterically. Maybe I need to find something better to amuse myself with...

When you're NWO, you're NWO FOR LIFE...yep, it looks like the band is getting back together. At the start of that match I wanted Hall to do his full big show/giant immitation, that cracks me up everytime.
The show itself wasn't that good...I just wanted to see a good night of actual wrestling...sure some of the angles were advanced, but a few actual you know matches would have been nice. Lets hope that next week they put the guys in the ring to work...and KEEP SMACKDOWN WRESTLERS OFF RAW!!! He should be suspended, period...there is no way this split can work if they let hhh do what he wants cause he gives it to teh bosses daughter

Don't tell me when KN, and show meet there going to say there can be only one big man in the NWO, just like they did when he was kicked out of the NWO back in WCW....Vince do something new....I am sure a DX return is in the works.

I would love to see an NWO vs DX fued. Hall, Nash, X-Bitch, and Big Show vs Triple H, Billy Gun, Brock Lesnar and someone else. And make it an old school fued, one that lasts for a while. Not 1 or 2 PPV's, make it last for a few months. Maybe even close to a year, like the old school fueds used to. I realize there would have to be some switching of people from one show to another, but it would be great to see.

I liked Raw last night. I don't like trying to save Big Show's career and all, but hey, you knew it was gonna happen with the split, and at least he won't be getting a push on his own, that would be inhumane. I like the fact that Flair obviously set that up so Big Show could turn on him, but he can now still claim that he was only trying to help Austin and, gee golly, it just backfired. Huddle-a huddle-a.

Other than that, alot of the stuff was cool. I was cracking up during the At the Movies shit. It ain't helping Booker T's career much, but being the ultimate black stereotype is at least funny. Especially to this way bland white dude.

What the fuck was the deal with Nash going to the bathroom and coming out? I'm sure Scott Keith had a way witty remark on his Raw recap about how that was his workrate being flushed down the toilet! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Man, what a loser that guy is.

In closing, although it doesn't seem that it was a unanimously bad show at all, thank GOD rage started this thread so we kept the streak of threads with the title of "(This WWF show) sucked ass!" for shows that weren't great but didn't suck! I can't wait for Friday to see who starts the "Smackdown was worse than AIDS thread!"

For someone who has such a low opinion of the man, you seem pretty damn obsessed with the guy.

I'm no huge fan of Keith, but at least he's exceptionally good at one thing in particular - pointing out the flaws of the WWF. Which, I have to admit, isn't such a hard thing to do when they're so glaring.

If you liked RAW, there is little hope for you. I turned off it at about 10 to watch "Crossing Jordan". I'd rather stare at Jill Hennessey for an hour than watch HHH shuffle around trying to act all butch and INTENSE~!

se7en, you bring up a good point. I liked RAW, but I was also switching back and forth from the Breuer special and Lewis Black's 1/2 hour show on Comedy Central. Maybe had I watched it in its entirety and not while giggling in between it would have been worse.
Who knows . . .

Huh? I mentioned him ONCE and maybe a couple other times on this board, period. I just mentioned him cuz the Nash-toilet joke was so obvious and the most likely guy on the net to use it and think it's funny is that mullet having homo. I promise not to mention the fat fuck again :-D

I have to be totally honest and say that I think Vince is making a big mistake regarding the two shows. I definitly think he should have handed HHH to Raw.

Smackdown already has Hogan, The Rock ( yeah I know hes MIA but he's still there), And now they're turning Edge into a main Face as well.

Meanwhile, Raw has Austin as a major face and that is all I can really think of right now. They're trying to make fucking Brashaw into a big name. I personally think Bradshaw isn't a main event type (others might disagree). I don't think he can live off this Redneck Texan thing forever. Sure Austin did it, but Bradshaw has nowhere near the amount of mic skills that Austin does.

As for HHH I honestly think he should be on Raw. This allows for some sort of NWO angle to form by either fighting them or joining them. And it gives a major player to Raw , besides the NWO who are all Heels. Anyway that's just the way I see it.

I agree with you CrinkleCrinkleVictim, but the original plan wasn't to push just Bradshaw, but Kane as well. Kane's push was supposed to be alot bigger than the one they were going to give Bradshaw.
Problem is he tore a bicep and will be out for a few months, leaving them short on talent. Trow in the fact that the WWF already had aired the segment where Vince told HHH that if he lost he would be part of Smackdown by the time they knew Kane was seriously injured. That's why you'll see the HHH appearances on RAW attacking the Taker.

Once the split happens, I think everyone was expecting a huge change in the WWF Rating book, and I guess they proved us all right. Why would they split the rosters, if HhH (Suposed to be on Smackdown!) is on RAW, and Undertaker (suposed to be on RAW) is on Smackdown!.. I have no bloddy clue why Vince would even THINK of this but whatever floats his boat

PS - Did I say bloddy back there?
