I do agree that Angle is a great technical wrestler, but so far as being the saving grace of the WW...E....(i feel dirty) that's a bit of a dilusion. The problem with the shows is the same reason that WCW lost out so much in the end. They took the focus off the wrestling and turned it into a soap opera. Sure kids like the goofy story lines, but serious wrestling fans hate that and would much rather see a Benoit, a Malenko, or other REAL wrestlers. The day they made the stories deeper then could be set up in a pre-match promo, it was the beginning of the end.
