Smackdown Taping Results:

Lilian Garcia comes to the ring and sings America, The Beautiful. Lance Storm comes out to the top of the stage with a mic in hand, and with Test and Christian by his side, and tells Lilian to leave the ring. All three enter the ring. Christian says the American youth thinks Independence Day is the day Will Smith saved the world from a bunch of aliens. Storm says America was founded as British Colonies. In 1776, America declared it's independence and turned it's back on Britian. Ultimately, America released it's war like hostilities on the rest of the world. Storms wonders what right America had to be in Korea and Vietnam. Storm says America was defeated in Vietnam and they are a bunch of hypocrites. Test says America is the most hypocritical nation in the world. All three get on the mic and say America Sucks.

Rikishi comes down to the ring and a match with Lance Storm begins.

Lance Storm w/ Test and Christian beat Rikishi. Test kicked Rikishi in the face off the top rope enabling Storm to get the easy pin.

Backstage, Undertaker arrives to the arena.

Backstage, Stacy knocks on the door and asks Mark Henry where John Cena is. Cena comes to the door. Stacy tells Cena that Mr. McMahon would like to see him right now.

Reverend Dvon and Deacon Bautista beat Randy Orton and Big Valbowski via Bautista one handed chokeslam on Orton.

Backstage, Jericho is complaining to Vince about Edge. Cena enters and introduces himself to Vince, and Vince introduces Cena to Jericho. Jericho gets mad at Cena for interupting his meeting with Vince. Cena smacks Jericho and leaves the room. Vince gives Jericho a match with Edge at Vengence, and a match with Cena tonight.

Backstage, Marc Loyd interviews Kurt Angle about his match with Undertaker tonight.

Backstage, Billy and Chuck celebrate the 4th of July by eating hot dogs. Rico walks in and says they need to be serious, because they have to defend the tag titles against Hogan and Edge tonight.

-commercial-

WWE Tag Team Championship - Edge and Hulk Hogan beat Billy and Chuck w/ Rico via double big boots and double legdrops on Chuck to become the new WWE tag champs.

*Note: Hogan came out to his "Real American" theme music.

Chris Jericho beat John Cena with a sleeper slam and his feet on the ropes. After the match Cena gave Jericho a spinning sidewalk slam.

Earlier today, Noble and Nidia arrive to their new trailor park home in his new pickup truck. Nidia says they can not afford it. Noble says they can now since he is the Cruiserweight Champion. They enter the trailor and eventually go to the back bedroom and close the door.

Torrie Wilson beat Stacy Keibler in a bra and panties match. Torrie then stripped down to her own bra and panties after the match.

-commercial-

Backstage, Marc Loyd interviews Undertaker. Undertaker talks about what he will do to Rock at Vengence and to Angle tonight.

-commercial-

WWE Undisputed Championship - Undertaker and Kurt Angle went to a no decision draw. Angle had Undertaker in a submission (leg lock choke around Taker's neck) at the same time Undertaker had Angle in a hand around the neck choke submission. Angle was pinned at the same time Undertaker tapped. Half of the referees declared Angle the winner and the other half declared Undertaker the winner, therefor it was announced as a draw and Undertaker is still the Undisputed Champion. After the match Team Canada came down and attacked Undertaker. Angle came back down to the ring and helped Undertaker clear the ring of the trio. Undertaker then chokeslammed Angle for good measure.

Undertaker rides his bike up the ramp, salutes the fans, and leaves to the back.

It is really sad they are using this America sucks storyline. I guess it is the only way the 3 of them would ever get any heat, is during war time. I just find it sad what is everyone elses thoughts.

THank god, Hendrix music does not fit him at all. Any word on whether it was the old school version or an updated remix?

Whoring my way to a regular.

i would hardly say we are in "war time" right now. in war you have an opponent who will meet you on the battlefield. what we're doing is more like a rabbit hunt, or wild goose chase.

i admire your honesty, hell i
like you, you can come over
to my house and fuck my

I know alot of people will bring up that this is classless like the Sgt. Slaughter angle, but really, I don't think so. If this was Tiger Ali Singh and Rikishi done up in his Sultan outfit again, saying they are here on direct orders from Al Qaeda to "terrorize" the WWE (God, that just SOUNDS like the most retarded storyline in history, doesn't it?) it would be one thing, but this is more or less a reprisal of Lance Storm's WCW gimmick, complete with a group behind him. The other would be directly trying to make money off a war going on right now and basically trying to make money off the fact young Americans are putting their life on the line as we speak. Which is what they did during the Gulf War. However, if September 11th is EVER brought up by Storm or his group and they try to make it like "America got what they deserved, blah blah blah" then it IS trying to make money off current events and it is disgustingly wrong. Either that or it proves that the WWE writers are a bunch of extremist left wing liberal nuts, which might be even MORE disgusting! And would also explain alot.

The only complaint I have is it's drastically unoriginal, but then when you think that the greatest storylines in wrestling history are unoriginal (the nWo was something Bischoff lifted from Japan, Austin-Vince had Vince stealing Bischoff's idea of turning heel, though Vince was so great a heel and Bischoff so pathetic a heel, nobody even REMEMBERS that Eric was first, etc.) it's not so bad. Hey, it will likely get Storm and Co. over, so why not? Young guys getting over is all the WWE really needs now.

On a side note, I wonder if they'll be faces in Canada, like Bret Hart was when he had this gimmick?

Also, does anyone realize what the Hogan/Edge win means? Hogan has, for the first time ever in the WWF/E, and maybe ever, won a belt outside of the World Title.

According to redandyellow.com, he has been 6-time WWF/WWE Champ/Undisputed Champ, 6-time WCW Champ. Nothing else. So you're right, this is the first time that he is winning a belt that not the World title.

SEE YA!!!

Hogan coming out to Real American was great. I had sweet seats, 8th row and 3 seats from the ramp. Got sweet views of Nidia (way hotter in person), Torrie and Stacy's asses and a nice look at Lilian's clevage.

Well, Edge will be a heel pretty soon don't you think? Hogan changes his music to Real American, Angle and Taker beat up the Canadians... Edge is Canadian and I see him turning on Hogan. It'd be cool if on SmackDown they had Y2J/Benoit vs. Edge/Hogan. Edge turns on Hulk and joins Canada. Maybe we could see Taker/Hogan/Angle vs. Benoit/Jericho/Edge at Vengeance?? That's the only possible outcome of this whole USA/Canada thing. I really don't see it being Storm, Christian and Test vs. any of the above names... They should just drop this shit, we had a great time with the Hart Foundation

Looks like a great show... Finally Billy and Chuck lose those belts! And Hogan goin' back to Real American is great! I just hope they actually go somewhere with this America Sucks angle.

I doubt it. Edge is in line to become the next midcarder to venture into the upper card, and they need him as a face. There's a better chance of Jericho joining the new Team Canada (if he resigns, that is).
