| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01  | whats up everyone, just wanted to share with you my trip (that nikki won) to wrestlemania.... First: no that "all your base are belong to us" wasnt mine, I was however on TV right before the Main Event when they were doing crowd shots and I was reaching in my pocket for the WOW sticker I brought, but i didnt get it out in time (insert withdrawl joke here). Anyways, the hotel was full of everyone from across the country that won a trip to wrestlemania (most of them were radio stations, some were like CORN NUTS or WEIDER trips). Everyone was mad drunk saturday nite, and hangin around the hotel. Edge was working out in the weight room and so were some WWF refs, but most of the wrestlers weren't stayin there. AXXESS was ok, i actually chipped out some concrete outta Vince's corvette that austin destroyed. The lines for autographs were too long, so i would just get up real close and snap pictures. Got Basil Devito (xfl pres) to sign the Wrestlemania book he wrote and my HITMEN stadium club pass, real nice guy remembers O&A. With the time zone change and daylight savings time and being drunk the nite before (plus i thought PPV started at 8, but im just used to eastern time) we almost missed the first hour, but we figured it out last minute. As far as the actual event: INSANE we had like 10th row seats and were right by the UT and HHH when they went on scaffolding, kinda lame when HHH landed and you could see the foam but nutty nonetheless. SHANE=CRAZY. TLC, really good...funny when jeff hardy missed that one spot though. Main event: everyone in texas was torn, they didnt know whether they should cheer or boo austin. Overall: great time, gotta thank O&A, wwf travle dept. takes care of everything. Can't wait for Smackdown! Jon "these grits are off the hook yo!"  | ||||
