The first WWF produced WCW Show has been postponed from May 9th to a date that is to be announced. At this time, it is not know why the show's date has been moved, but the Sovereign Bank Arena, which is where the show was to take place, has announced on its website that the show will not take place on May 9th. Expect an update on this situation from Jim Ross in today's edition of the "Ross Report" on WWF.com.

I heard the show is not to air until may 12 at 11:00pm so hopefully they will be able to get a change in venue.

This is a setback for the WWF and Vince McMahon. Shane isn't really running the company it is just for storyline purposes.

Actually, from what I've read on WrestleLine, Shane will be in charge of WCW completely and only reports to Linda McMahon. He will run it as his own fed until he can build up a fan base and then they will start running cross promotions.

First or all, I was being sarcastic. I am not that much of a Mark. Should have known that never works when it's typed. Secondly, The Ross report stated that WCW shows were being pushed back to June 9 or possibly all the way back to July. They still haven't hired backstage employees and referees. Seems like the wrestling business is gonna be a little slow for a few months with only one show in town.
