quote:

The Hart Bros. Wrestling Academy's head instructor, Bruce Hart, made a definitive statement regarding the relationship between Stampede Wrestling and the WWF during an interview over the weekend. The message was clear; he and his family are willing to once again work together with the WWF.

"The way I see it right now, our relationship with the WWF is better than it has been in some time" Bruce told the Real Deal newsletter. "There's been a lot of things, perhaps, resolved, and others that have been brought into focus. We're more than receptive to working with the WWF again. We don't see any point in harboring counter-productive animosity. Onward and upward. We've had an outstanding relationship with the McMahons for fifty-five years. There were a lot of unfortunate incidents beyond anyone's control, and what happened to Owen was always the main issue anyway. There was a lot of crap being thrown about by lawyers, and by hearsay, but there's no real pronounced bad feeling right now. If anything we're looking to revitalize our longstanding relationship and embark on productive new relationships that are mutually beneficial."

As Bruce mentioned, the ties between the Harts and the WWF go back over fifty years with Stu Hart. Many of the most influential WWF talents of the last twenty years, such as Bret and Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jake Roberts and Chris Jericho, all came from Stu's "Dungeon" training facility. It appears that a reunion may be on the cards for one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history, that being the one between the WWF and the Hart family.

"I'm looking at positive new beginnings here. Hopefully we'll learn from a lot of things that went wrong as of late and embark on a positive new direction. A rolling stone gathers no moss. We're working to move onward and upward with the right people on board. We were at a similar juncture in 1980 when things were at a rough state. There had been a lot of adversity. But we embarked on a new beginning then with a pretty small nucleus which consisted of Sandy Scott, Tom Billington, myself and a few rookies. We were undaunted by any negative elements or pessimism. This little grain of sand became a pearl, and in six months we were rocking and rolling with a very productive run. We see ourselves as a snowball. We just want to roll and get some momentum. There's no time for negatives right now."

Now that could be interesting!

sorry, double post

A friend with weed is a friend indeed. A friend without it is a friend in need.

I really hope this happens. Its refreshing to see everyone let bygones be bygones and put their personal animosity aside for the good of everyone involved.
