- He said that a known wrestling name would be starting up a new federation sometime soon.

- Mean Gene says he is signing a new contract sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.

- He said that Chyna was going to appear on an upcoming episode of "The View". Gene mentioned The Rock's May 1st appearance on The Tonight Show.

- Gene said that Rock would be back to wrestling action by July 30th. Gene and the guys from the show joked about Mean Gene's scenes from "Ready To Rumble".

- Gene said that Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels would not be coming back to wrestling as was once thought. He showed up not in any shape to perform and Ray Lytle referred to that as "Scott Hall syndrome".

- Gene said that Brother Love would be coming back to WWF TV soon, involved in an angle with The Dudley Boyz.

- Gene talked about Sonny Onoo - Onoo is supposed to be bringing some Oriental talent to America soon.

- Gene said that Jerry "The King" Lawler would be resurfacing soon in a new promotion. Mean Gene said he himself had lots of options.

- Gene talked about Tony Schiavone announcing Braves baseball.

- Mean Gene said that Ric Flair would be "staying put" for now and that Flair was thinking about getting into local politics.

- Mean Gene put over the website http://www.classicwresting.com

- Gene spoke about Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart talking to Universal Studios in Florida about possibly becoming part of the theme park and having their own
TV show.

- Mean Gene said a "hardcore" group in wrestling would be starting a new federation based on solid good old-school technical wrestling and that Gene would have some names within 10 days.

- Mean Gene puts over the local Mean Gene's Burgers restaurant and he and the guys on the show discuss the food there.

- Mean Gene closes by telling the guys that Steve "Sting" Borden would not be returning to the ring. Apparently he has saved his money well, plus the rest of his contract left, and that he was a good Christian family man and that he wants to spend time doing that.

Yes Edge, that doesn't make sense. But there was a reason for it, that movie completely sucked ass! Be thankful you saved your money.

Yeah, Edge. Be thankful you couldn't spend however many pounds to see it. It would be 107 minutes of your life you'd never get back.

If you want to see a good wrestling movie see Beyond the Mat Now after seeing that movie you take a whole new look at wrestling especially Jake the Snake.

cool thanks :-)
i bought BEYOND THE MAT coz it looked pretty good and i've seen it 3 or 4 times now (i have a slight mick foley obsession- nothing to worry about really) and it really is the best film/documentary. it's kind of sad seeing what happens to big stars like terry funk and jake roberts once they get old.
