Jerry Lawler confirmed over the weekend that he is in talks with Universal about being part of a new wrestling federation involving Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart.

The old Undertaker AKA “The Lord of Darkness” could be returning at the Backlash PPV. In other Backlash news, a WCW superstar, more than likely Mike Awesome or Booker T could do a run-in for Shane in his match with The Big Show this Sunday.

Chyna could be turning heel soon and join X-Factor. She would take on the persona that Sable had during her last run with the WWF, which was a very arrogant and snobby gimmick.

Do not expect the Old Undertaker to return. Reports are that both he and the creative team are more than pleased with the way his new gimmick has progressed, and the way he has carried himself in the ring as of late.

I think they need to do something with Chyna. Her holding the women's title and squashing everyone isn't doing her or the other women any good.

i like the undertaker as he is right now. i didn't get into wwf until the whole "Minister of Darkness" thing was just over so all i know about that character is from videos of old ppvs but i think the "American Bad Ass" thing is better and he gets to ride cool bikes.

i like chyna right now as well but turning heel could be interesting. but with X FACTOR????? they suck!!!!

I'm gonna have to agree with edge on this. Yeah, the Lord of Darkness is cool, but we live in a day where gimmick wrestlers are kind of passe. C'mon, even Kane is becoming more and more normal. Like last week on Smackdown. The old Kane would never be injured so easily.

I also agree about Chyna. Yeah, a heel turn would be nice (it would be a lot better than kicking all the women's asses for no reason), but X-Pac is already dragging two perfectly good careers down with him, and Chyna doesn't have to be a third. Ever heard of guilt by association?

I don't think the "Lord of Darkness" will return until the 'Takers farwell tour and as of late that doesn't look to be anytime soon. The UnderBiker has been looking great in the ring and getting a great pop from the crowd. (and not just because of his entrance) His closelines in the corners have looked brutal and the backdrop he gave HHH on Raw looked to be about seven feet high. I like his character and what he is doing now. Going back to the old gimmick will be a step in the wrong direction, but that is just my opinion and I don't write for the WWF. I just hope they don't mess with the UnderBiker now that I am actually starting to like the character.

As for Chyna I think the heel role will be good for her and honesty does anyone care what group she is with? Just giving her a credible reason to be heel and faction to fight with will be good. The only problem I see with this is that she will have to fight Lita soon and that means that the Hardy's will have to do a program with X factor. Well, at least the Lita v. Chyna will be interesting.

On a final note, great new pic Francine Banger, it is greatly appreciated. Also Shocker if you are gonna agree with Edge that is kewl (she makes good points) but don't use words that she won't know (passe). It might just confuse the youngster.

I agree, Taker's biker gimmick is pretty good. And, as Shocker said, gimmick wrestling is passe. The only thing I would change about Taker, if it were up to me, is his entrance music. Every time I hear Rollin hit, I want to smash my tv and/or stab my eardrum with a q-tip.

But what aboot the good times with the old undertaker??? Who defeated Hulk Hogan for the world title? The lord of Darkness.
Who defeated Mankind after putting him in one of the most amazing match and fued of all time? The Lord of Darkness.
Who had the most kickass original gimmick and finisher in sport entertainment? The lord of Darkness.

All I see now is a sad diesal and Austin wannabe..........Edge go buy some old wwf tapes with the undertaker on it and I'll think you'll turn the cheek about this new gimmick. It was awesome when it first started but now all it is a cheap ripoff.
