O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Thanks to Dave Scherer and 1wrestling.com for the following Chris Kanyon posted a commentary on his website saying that as of midnight on April 23, he was released from his WCW contract and is now a free agent. He also said that he is confident that he will sign with the WWF, which is what he wants to do, and realizes that he will have to take a pay cut to do so. He said that even so, he will be more than happy to take a pay cut because working for the WWF has been a dream of his forever. He also said that WCW had turned into a very negative place under Time Warner and that there was a lot of politicking and backstabbing going on. After Shane McMahon’s death defying elbow drop 30 feet off the top of the Backlash set he sustained no injuries. People backstage say he was just fine even though it looked like he was hurt after he landed.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Shane would be a great full time wrestler if he didn't get injured so much. As for Kanyon, I'm looking forward to seeing him in the WWF. "I am a sophisticated sex robot sent back in time to change the future for one lucky lady."-The Shermanator

O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | Being part owner and heir apparent, he has no need to do anything like this, but he loves the business and will do anything for the company. I am sure he also wants poeple to understand that they all have to work their asses off for us fans to make sure the product they put out is the best it can be. Shane is a smart businessman. It really was a wicked looking fall.
