Nice reference.

And I agree with Smiley, although he is possibly the best example of a stupid gimic for a wrestler that really doesnt need one. If he could have just wrestled, he would have been amazing, he really knew his shit.

Besides all the ones you all mentioned (which were all great) I though Goldberg was very impressive when he first came around in the WCW. But I think its way to hard to pick just one. HBK was my fav, but I dunno about greatest.

Any Pez Watley fans out there? A hummer to any one who says yes.

Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold are up there because they are the 2 "everyone in the world knows their names" wrestlers. Fuck The Rock. In terms of athleticism, either Rob Van Dam or Shawn Michaels. Lucha Libre wrestlers don't count because all of them are too damn good. Technical wrestlers like Bret Hart, Dean Malenko, Triple H, and Chris Benoit are also up there. Ric Flair, Andre the Giant, Terry Funk, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Bruno Sammartino are great old time wrestlers. After all is said and done, the best of all time has to be Mick Foley. No one has had better matches and better interviews than that crazy one eared bastard. He kicks ass.

Gotta go with the Nature Boy, but if HHH's career continues to take off, he may take the crown.

When he was fighting as Black Magic in Mexico and Japan, he was once considered the top prospect for the Super-J... As for Malenko, who can forget those matches against Jushin Liger... Malenko was ruthless in his attacks on him. Besides, isn't Japanese wrestling more "realistic?" You don't get a rope break, you have to get to the apron...

As for Tanaka, unless you have seen his old stuff, you don't know who he really is. In ECW, he very rarely was able to do his "true" finisher, the Diamond Dust (a top rope flipping jawbreaker).
