O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | BOOKER T SIGNS WCW RELEASE by Bob Ryder Updated: 5/30/2001 8:56:46 PM Sources tell 1Wrestling.com that Booker T reached a settlement with Time Warner earlier this week and has signed a release that will allow him to negotiate and sign a contract with the WWF owned version of WCW. Booker T defeated Scott Steiner to win the WCW World Title on the last NITRO, and was considered a priority for the new WCW talent roster.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Booker will sign with WWFE, but will have to stay in WCW for at least the immediate future due to still holding the belt. It would be a shame to have the champ jump ship...unless he started as part of an invasion angle only to turn on his fellow invaders...

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Yeah, but unless Booker T turned on his fellow invaders to either win the WWF title, or stay in the title hunt for a legitamite amount of time, his turn would just make WCW look even more second rate.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | He will stay with WCW, but I defintely see him showing up at the King of the Ring to help Shane out against Kurt. Hopefully if you have a couple of inter federation matches at the July PPV Invasion, How about Kurt and Vince McMahon vs Booker T. and Shane McMahon

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Booker T is a BIG baby face if need E-Mail Me "We all need... a haven. A sanctuary. A place to hide. A place to escape. A place to dream and hope. A place... where the darkness won't be so frightening. So it is written. So it shall come to pass. But for some, the darkness is a relentless enemy. It cannot be eluded. And once the darkness senses your fear; once it senses your pain, it is never far behind. I can empathize with these people. I can understand their futility. I can forgive their hopelessness. I feel their pain. Quote the Raven, nevermore."

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Booker T has been over huge as a face for quite a long time. Its a shame that most of it was spent playing 2nd, err 3rd, fuck it 10th fiddle to a bunch of fucknuts with 1/10 his talent. (sarcasm)But hey, thats over now, Just ask Jericho. (sarcasm)

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I can't wait to see Booker, or any of the other 24 that the WWF has signed...the only one that makes me sad is Jeff Jarrett. WCW needs him as its top heel, and with his past in the WWF, he most likely will not be signed, a real shame.

Let's also hope that whoever is doing the booking in the "new WCW" doesn't put BT back in the tag team ranks again and bury him like he was for 10 years.
