| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00  | Wow...life sucks sometimes. I recently moved to an area that doesn't carry UPN on its cable lineup so I no longer get to watch Smackdown. It is really going to suck when it becomes a live show and Monday nights become WCW shows. I am already feeling the withdrawal of not being able to watch WWF Programming 3 times a week and if I can only watch it Once a week I will go nuts.. Any thoughts on the WCW is War takeover? That sucks, I dont even know why Vince is doing this to his own company...unless his plan is just to have crusierweights and tag teams wrestle on mondays and the big boys wrestle thursdays. Yea i be taking that zoloff, but thaz jus keepin me from killin y'all. | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | The reason Vince is doing this is because Smackdown gets higher ratings than Raw does, so the higher rated show wouldn't suffer. Also, more people have UPN than TNN. Cluster F, you make it sound like WCW isnt Vince's company. Why would Vince do this to his company? Because he needs his other company to succeed, too. Duh. The WWF-WCW thing hasn't worked yet because WCW is looked upon as inferior. They need to build WCW up, and so they need to give it their own show and it must be successful. This wouldn't have happened if TNN would just let Vince put WCW on LATE FUCKING SATURDAY NIGHT anyway. But, they won't, so Vince has to give WCW one of the WWF's shows. Might as well make it the one that less people will be affected by. And don't give me Sunday Night Heat please, he wants the godamn company to succeed, alright? Giving an already looked upon as inferior product a looked upon as inferior show would be worse than a show on late Saturday night. They have to drill into everybody's heads that WCW, in fact, does not suck (even if they do, although they lookewd alot better on Smackdown, I must say), and Sunday Night Heat being their #1 show won't help anything. So, tough shit, unfortunately, Sarge. I feel bad for people like you, but there would be more of you if they changed Smackdown instead. Hey, at least you'll get Angle, Foley, and Jericho or whoever else is going to jump ship to WCW. I still say that this will be for the best as one WWF show a week will make the product and storylines better and less convoluted and complicated due to the fact the writing staff has too many shows to build to a PPV right now. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Hey Hello...If Vince is so concerned about making WCW look better, and building it up, why does he have his mid-card wrestlers beating on the wcw talent all the time? Does it make sense for someone like the godfather or bull buchanan and the rest of the group to beat on o'hair and palumbo or whoever else? No, that just makes the product look weaker than the wwf.
