Power and Glory's move.

Herculees with the superplex from the top rope, followed by a simultaneous Flying Splash from the other turnbuckle by Paul Roma.

Executed Perfectly, and of course Hogan didnt sell it at Survivor Series 90. Getting up easily after a 2 pin, to then eliminate both Herculees and Roma.

I can't believe you said the Garvin Stomp is one of your favorite moves ever. I wish I had that Cartman sound effect, you know the one...;)

no mikewow, u have not defiled my thread, those finishers were huge at the time that they happened.

And, i cant believe i forgot about Power and Glory's finisher. That was awesome...and yes it did suck when Hogan kicked out so easily.

I have come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum. :)

5. Sharp Shooter
4. Death Valley (or Spicoli) Driver
3. Razor's Edge
2. DDT: the deal-closer, the original "Dooms Day Touch" by Jake Roberts or the "Evenflow" by Raven (not the half-hearted move where the guy performing the move falls to his ass the guy selling it does a cute little tumblsault like a third grade girl in tumbling class).
1. Any move in Rob Van Dam's repertoire: Van Daminator, Van Terminator, Split-legged Moonsault, or 5 Star Frog Splash....no one is more exciteing to watch than Van Dam (except maybe HBK, and it doesn't look like we'll be seeing him any time soon).

How can everyone list the stunner in their top five when the rude awakening was the same move but executed in a better way.

(3)Poison Mist/Tajiri
(4)Drop Toe Hold into something sharp/Raven
and (5) anything involving a flaming table.

Whackbag...I agree that the Stunner doesn't belong on the list (at least not mine), but the Rude Awakening was a neck-breaker, wasn't it? So it was a backwards stunner, right?

I can't believe that i forgot about the rude awakening...there are so many great moves, aerial, ground, and otherwise, that anyone could tend to forget about them. That would probably be in my top ten. And by the way, it is just an opinion question, if someone doesnt like the stunner, it doesnt mean that it sucks, or vice versa.

1. Figure four leglock - Probably the most built up "feared" hold of the 80s. Between Flair in the NWA and Valentine/Santana in the WWF this move was just the leg breaker of choice. I remember seeing this move and just emulating it on my brother and using it in my basement wrestling league with my friends. Plus it legitamately hurts like hell. Oh yeah, speaking of Flair in the 80s. How come this guy kicks out of like every finisher in the sport yet gets pinned with a backslide by Kerry Von Erich in Texas? It's a fucking backslide!!! I do this day still laugh at that.

2. Frankensteiner - Back when Scott Steiner wasn't a roided out freak show he was able to execute this move tremendously. Brought the now widely used move to the US on a prominant scale.

3. Savage elbow - It seems I'm picking a lot of moves from the 80s but I guess that's because that's when finishers meant something. Once Savage hit the elbow it was over. Move completely lost all meaning after the Warrior kicked out after 5!!! elbows. I guess they figured that Savage's retirement was going to be a little longer and that the Warrior was actually going to stay around. Wrong on both accounts.

4. Road Warriors' Doomsday Device - Probably the first kickass tag team move I can remember. The best was when the guy who got clotheslined actually flipped in midair.

5. Total Elimination - I don't really care, this move just looked nasty. Maybe it's because they always showed them hitting it on Francine.

I left a shitload off this list but that's just the way I'm feeling right now. It's all subject to change.

But there's also this: there are over 5,000 men in this city, who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that's gotta be done.

I know it, too, and I'm damn glad to be one of them."

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL FUCKIN YEAH!!! My favorite move ever!!!

Other additions (in no particular order):

Kenta Kobashi's Burning Hammer - If you haven't seen this, he basically gets his opponent in a torture rack, then drops him on his head. Brutal as hell.

Steve Williams' Backdrop Driver - High angle release German suplex. Cringe-inducing.

Aja Kong's leg drop from the top of a cage - She only did it once, but GOD DAMN, it was amazing. Puts every other top-of-the-cage move to shame.

Great Sasuke's Space Flying Tiger Drop - A thing of beauty.

Rey Misterio Jr.'s Hurricanrana into a cradle - Fast as lightning.

Ric Flair's Figure Four - It's been said already, just thought I'd repeat it. The perfect finisher for a near-perfect wrestler.

Watch some puro, people!!!:):)

5. Awesome bomb through a table in the corner or outside ring (preferably to Lil Spike Dudley)

4. Vic Grimes sit-down torture rack

3. Rikishi driver (I always thought it looked cool)

2. ***** Frog Splash

1. Sabu triple jump somersault to outside

I have to go with some moves that you don't really see any more (although with RVD back, we'll get more of the splash.) Awesome seems to have toned his act down a lot, the Rikikshi driver has been banned, and Sabu will probably never make his way back into the national spotlight again (if he was really there to begin with.)

Tumbleweed (2 Cold Scorpio)
Tarantula (Tajiri, hey it looks cool)
Sharpshooter/Scorpion Death Lock
Cross Faced Chicken Wing
Triple Jump Moonsault (Sabu)

And basically any moonsault or ariel move to the outside and over the guardrail. Like RVD diving onto Jerry Lynn from the top rope, doing a full summersault and killing him in the third row.
