Considering this is a major PPV, with it being the first ever of interfederation matches. They have to continue it somehow, so there is no way I can see WWF winning the inaugural brawl on Sunday. There will be some type of swerve where someone major from WWF joins WECW, or a new WCW wrestler joins the fray.

Here are things that I think could happen.

Someone from the WWF team, joining WCW, either Austin, Kurt Angle, or Chris Jericho.

Or possibly the Rock coming back and joinging WCW.

Or even Scott Steiner or Ric Flair helping WCW win.

What's your opinion on what will happen at the PPV?

Steiner and Flair are both still under Time Warner contract, I believe, so they won't be showing up.

But, I'm a cynical bastard, so I think they'll turn Jericho heel, and he'll cost WWF the big match at Invasion and side with WCW/ECW. They'll build him up once again as a major threat and contender, before he loses yet another WWF title match, sending him back to the midcard and a feud with Crash Holly for the Euro Title.

I just hope I'm really, really wrong...

I don't think they will turn Austin. I love Jericho, but he really isn't that big yet. I think it will be Rock or Angle.

The only reason Austin's turn would make sense is because the rock is coming back and austin put him out. Other than that, it makes no sense to align Austin with WCW, especially since he's been kicking their asses this whole week and shows no sign of leaving WWF. I think it will either be the Rock, which is a good possibility, or Jericho, because out of the 5 WWF guys, his turn makes the most sense.

However, i would love to see scott steiner or ric flair there on sunday

They might actually be keeping some things quiet, and maybe we will see The Nature Boy. I hope somehting good happens with this match, otherwise it is just the same thing again.

I will say that I have no idea who will turn, it is too much for me to think about, I dont want to see Austin turn, he is too much of a WWF legend at this point. The Rock wouldnt go either, he is also an Icon and a huge money draw. The logical choice of top guys would be either Jericho, or Angle. I am going for Angle.

Angle if any, probably be pissed for Austin leaving the ring with the DDP/Debra situation.
Also remember how Angle kicked ass against Raven on Monday. Maybe he will jump to ECW.

Also the DDP/Debra situation seems odd. maybe they are setting up a storyline there.

I think that we will see the Rock run from the back, and cost WWF the match, Which will set up Summerslam WWF Austin vs WECW Rock. I hope that they do not forc Jericho back to WECW, I think that he can be a major contender if they would just let him. He has the mic skills, and excellent wrestling moves to do it. I would like to see Big Poppa Pump, and all his freaks.

I really hope it is Jericho that goes WECW. He obviously makes the best sense. And Jericho was an amazing heel. Remember the feud with Chyna. That stuff was classic. That is where his mic skills really shine. There was a time when the WWF was getting real boring when I was just watching the show when Jericho was on.

I would bet alot of money on Austin turning, just a hunch. I mean, why the hell would they turn him face so quickly after turning heel, unless they wanted his defection to ECW/WCW (he can't stay in the WWF cuz he'd be a face) to actually MEAN something, which, if he was still a heel, it wouldn't! Alot of people on the net are saying it is him and it makes the most sense, not to mention it makes his original heel turn finally make sense. And quite frankly, I think Pete from rajahwwf.com explained it best with this column:

I was going to give my conspiracy theory on why Steve Austin could very well turn on the WWF and join WCW on Sunday, but it must be a really obvious possibility because everyone and their grandmother are already buzzing about it because the seeds are definitely in place for such a development. Let's quickly run down the supporting evidence:

1) Austin isn't going to be turning face permanently anytime soon. Once he decides to stick up for the WWF again, what's the only way to turn him back heel? Easy; have him join WCW.

2) He still has that big program with The Rock waiting in the wings. If the Rock and Austin, two major WWF superstars, were to feud with one another on the WWF forefront, where does that leave the WCW angle? Answer: The backburner. And that's the last place it's supposed to be.

3) Star power. Booker T and DDP are WCW's two top stars. The WWF has Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, and Kurt Angle, all of which are portrayed as being "better" than them. An Austin turn would even up the sides even more.

4) Given that Austin is the reigning WWF Champion, this would have a major effect on the WWF as a whole. Vince would have to resort to lifting The Rock's suspension, as the Rock would be put into the Superman role in an attempt to bring the WWF Title back to the WWF where it belongs.

5) It would fit perfectly with the storyline. Austin turned heel and aligned himself with Vince at Wrestlemania, just six days after Shane initially purchased WCW. Could Shane and Austin, both babyfaces at the time, have been in cahoots all along? Austin has always hated having Vince as a boss, but as the storyline could go, the only reason he never left was because he never wanted to return to the old awful WCW. With Shane as the new owner of WCW, he was finally presented with an alternative. Shane and Austin agreed to screw over Vince, but to do so from the inside. First, Austin joined Vince and got him to help him win the WWF Championship. Then he convinced him to suspend Vince's other top star, the Rock, all while teaming up with Vince's other trusted top gun, Triple H. If explained the right way, this could all be sold as an elaborate plan to gain Vince's trust, only to later stab him in the back, robbing him of his two biggest stars and his World Championship all at the same time. Intriguing stuff, no?

Yes. Yes, it is.

Well, Devon, like I said, I can't take credit for it, the guy who wrote the column deserves it, but he convinced me, that's for sure!
