However, its being speculated that privately, "The People's Champion" does not feel the same way. Its being reported that The Rock could leave the WWF for Hollywood in as soon as two years, if his movie career become "larger than life." If this were to happen, The Rock would only appear on WWF television for a few appearances every year. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Heres an interesting tid-bit I found today on Wrestling Inc. Even though his first movie in a leading role is yet to be released, Universal Pictures want the Rock locked for at least two more movies. The first movie is to be written by Academy Award winner Brian Helgeland (LA Confidential) and the second, titled 'Hunting Bronze' written by Joseph C Muscat. Variety reported that The Rock is attached to the second movie more then the first. Producer of the two upcoming movies is Kevin Misher, the former Universal production president who later became a producer on the Rock's movie 'Scorpion King'. If all negotiations go as expected, The Rock will be playing a bounty hunter who tries to corral a fugitive before a rogue cop seeking revenge finds and kills him in the movie 'Hunting Bronze'. Variety also reported that several movie studios are after The Rock for future movies. Rock is expected to take more time off in Winter. Rock earned $5.5 million for his 'Scorpion King' role and if such money is continued to be offered to the People's Champ for leading roles in movies, the WWF will soon find themselves without The Rock. Looks like The Rock is gonna get that star on the Hollywood walk of fame any day now.....  MDLax84 has decided to earn his degree in Goatweed University.
