U2 will open a new series of North American dates on Oct. 10 at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Ind., Billboard.com reported. Publicists for U2 and tour promoter Clear Channel Entertainment would not confirm the report; an official announcement is expected on Tuesday (9/11).

About half of the 22 stops on the band's October-November itinerary reportedly will be cities that the band played on the first leg of its tour. The band is expected to play multiple nights in several markets.

To date this year, U2 sold out 50 dates in North America and 33 in Europe, and has grossed more than $105 million, according to Amusement Business. The 22 additional dates could tack another $30 million onto that total.

I saw them at the Garden this year for the Elevation Tour and they were great...my seats were awful...but they were great nonetheless. I guess I am going to have to start auctioning off some of my belongings to pay for yet another concert ticket.... :) Anyone know where I can sell second hand clothes? ;)

why do I say I'm fine when it's obvious I'm not?
why's it so hard to tell you what I want?
why can't you just read my mind?

I don't even want to hear it. I was at the Meadowlands and hand the last row in the upper level behind the stage. It was ironic.. I was so high up that I couldn't see the ceiling. But I was there, and that's all that matters. I'd be sure to go again if they hit this area.

Okay...maybe you had it a little worse, but I was at the Garden in the 400 section, which normally wouldn't be bad but they were the obstructed view seats (the press box is over you). I could barely see the show half the time, but I rationalized that you go to hear not to see... :)
