Are you saying that artist aren't allowed to express their opinions on current events? Dude, here's a wake-up call for you. Musicians have been doing this since the idea of music was created. I highly doubt that Creed wrote any of the songs on Weathered after Sept 11th. Creed has always had religous undertones in all of their songs, and just becuase people find comfort in their songs (even if they have nothing to do with the events of Sept 11th) doesn't make them jerks. If you want to hate them, fine, everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but don't base it on unfounded accustations of people profiting on the deaths of innocent people. DasDoomper  | ||||

If Creed sucks as bad as you think they do, the magic of the capitalist system will phase them into oblivion, however, if some people continue to like them, they will be around for a while. If you hate them so much, why not just change the station? Hundreds of stations in the NYC metro area, there has got to be something on you would rather listen to while a 3-5 min song plays. | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00 | 1) If you get a Creed CD, get My Own Prison or Weathered (skip Human Clay). 2) I agree, Stapp just looks like a moron now...but the old stuff...well there ya go. 3) True, if you don't like them, then don't listen to them. 4) As for the Pearl Jam/Creed thing, I dont know....Stapp has a Vedder-esque voice, but the genre is a bit altered. 5) Just a fact, Weathered was written entirely before 9/11/01 Whatever....just pop in some My Own Prison.
