| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02  | the place where it's hidden is in video games. You may find that very hard to believe and are probably annoyed or offended in some way. The truth is usually very strange and hard to accept. When it comes to music - I only listen to video game music. That's where the best compositions are. My site has pictures of video game music concerts, officially published cd's, and video game music composers. Here it is: http://gamemusicimages.com You will learn that video game music is taken very seriously in Japan and is played to overflow crowds. CD's are published in which music from the games is arranged by professional musicians. | ||||

Rather than remaining ignorant, look through my site, visit the links page and try to figure out what the heck it is I'm talking about. Whether you like it or not, video game music is taken seriously by millions of people. That's right - millions. Go to gamemusic.com and buy the Final Fantasy VIII OST or the Cyber Org OST. You will be very, very surprised by what you hear. Video game music is not inane - it's sophisticated. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | I sincerely apologize for talking about music in a music forum. What exactly is it I'm trying to sell? I haven't offered anything. Furthermore, what if I claimed that the best music was contained within Jimmy Hendrix or Metallica albums? Would my post still be SPAM? What if I said - "Go to my Nirvana site and look at the pictures of concerts."? Would that be SPAM? It's OK, I know why you really SPAMMED my post. It's what I expected - people aren't ready for game music in America yet. Video games are considered toys for children in America. In other countries, they're called computers. Don't worry, I won't bother you folks anymore. Really though, look through my site. There are pictures from my CD collection. Maybe you remember the games you played when you were younger. Maybe you'll find out that music from the games you played has been released on CD and arranged. I don't know about you, but it makes me very happy. NOTE: I DO NOT SELL ANYTHING AT MY SITE. Game music albums are released in very limited quantities and become quite expensive when they go out of print. A Castlevania album once sold for $1500 on ebay. Not everyone can afford to buy the originals and are forced to settle with cdr's or mp3's. My site offers images for free, for people that can't afford the originals. Read the English and read it again - you will notice I am offering nothing but free images. I made a suggestion for people ignorant of game music to go buy the Final Fantasy VIII OST and Cyber Org OST. That was a suggestion. I do NOT have those for sale. Let me tell you, if I had something for sale - I WOULD GO TO EBAY. Not here. I originally posted to talk about my favorite music, which is video game music. If you don't feel like discussing your favorite video game soundtracks with me, then move along. If you know nothing of video game music, then go to my website. That is what the internet is for - people make websites for other people. I've made my contribution to the internet. (Of course, the original intention of the internet was very, very different.) We try to welcome new members to the board and maybe we got off on the wrong foot. Your post is considered spam here because you wanted people to visit your site. It may have come accross better if you had said "if you would like more information you can visit my website". Then it would not have seemed like spam. Reading the faq is definately a good thing. The link for the faq is at the top of the page right under the banner. It will explain the good and the bad of the board and will help you out it the long run.
