| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 01  | The more I listen to Toxicity the more I just fucking love it. Besides tracks 4,5, and 7 the albulm is phenominal. I've never heard their first albulm though. For those that have, do you think it is better or worse than the first one. Is the first one worth getting? | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | My new favorite album. I almost feel bad I bought a bootleg copy. I love the change of tempo, its really beautiful. The only song I didn't like was Jet Pilot (is that what its called?). The repeating "wired were the eyes of a horse on the jet pilot, [one that?] smiled as he flew over the bay" got on my nerves :) The lead singer's range of voice is nicely captured in that one with the, er, "sitting in a tomb" and "you don't care about how I feel, I don't feel eRRRRRanymore". Sorry I can't name tracks, I lent the CD to a friend,... I've had a sharp rise in the number of my friends who just mention "oh, dude, you're never gonna believe who I just fell in love with on MTV. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | I light a bowl and put on SOAD everynight. I did'nt like Jet Pilot at first but, it grew on me. Trust me, smoke some Cannabis and listen. Its fucking isane. It really is. I'm not some baked hippie but, Its fun to image all this weird shit. One time i caught the Toxicity video afetr moking. That rocked! The first album is cool too. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | i hate most new metal, but this band is amazing. Daron's guitar playing is great. it mixes different genres (metal, some classical sounds, middle eastern stuff) and i think he was a producer on the album. serj does have great range and is my favorite (active) rock singer right now. i really like john dolmayans deep sounding drumming on chop suey and then the change to the high pitched sounds on deer dance. toxicity is great from beginning to end. | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | It's a pretty good album. The grooves are nice and the backing vocals rock. I dig Pogo out of most of the songs. I recommend it. A heavy dose of reality, with a shot of piss and vinegar I love the kindredbabe, the MamaCaz, the SyKoPaThCHiK, and especially the RF and my little walking Disaster Area!!!! | ||||
