| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | Just got back from seeing this and I have to be honest, it's not as bad as it was made out to be. If you believe the critics, this was a bad movie but I thought it was actually very entertaining. The action sequences were well done. The fighting was better than a lot of movies of its kind. And damnit The Rock actually does a good job of acting in the starring role. The plot is pretty basic, being revenge, but in the end they pull it off well. Anyone looking for a movie to just get away from it all, I reccommend going to see this. Like I said before, it's a lot better than it's been given credit for. I give it a thumb's up. Being a small theater and not a multi-plex we got to see only 1 preview and thank god it was one that was new to me. The movie is Reign of Fire and I have to say this looks like a must see this summer. Anyone who has seen the preview I think will agree. It can't get much better than fire breathing dragons trying to be stopped from taking over the world. Plus it has Christian Bale and that can't be all bad. I plan on seeign this during the summer. | Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | I saw this movie last night and I gotta agree with Face, it's not that bad at all. The story and action sequences were really cool and I hate to admit it, but the Rock can act. This is one of those rainy day movies. Go and check it out if you have nothing better to do. Oh and Face I saw that trailer for Reign of Fire. That movie looks sick. Medieval dragons trying to take over post apocalyptic earth sounds pretty cool to me. I'll definitely check this one out.  | ||||
