| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | Visit this Website for information concerning the return of one of the best Punk Bands ever, The Misfits. Despite the fact that both the lead singer and drummer (Micheal Graves and Dr, Chud) quit the band following a on-stage fight at the House of Blues in Lousiana on Halloween of 200, the band insists that it will not hamper their plans. Slated for a guest appearence are Members of Black Flag, The Ramones, and Type O Negative. The Opening acts will include The Impotent Sea Snakes, The Independents, and Destinence. On a side note, Marky Ramone of the Legendary Ramones was slated to appear, but that is doubtful with the recent death of his brother-in-arms Joey Ramone. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Adolescent, all i am saying is, people shouldnt be getting that excited over seeing the misfits, or whats left of.. with the exception of jerry only, every other member is 2nd hand.. and now they have a 4th! singer and like a 3rd drummer, doyle was i believe the second guitarist so its not That bad.. ive seen cover bands that do the songs better then the 'misfits' do nowadays. baaaaah Kill Your Elected Official Today! | ||||

Apart from the fact that i will be trying to repress the opening acts performance for the rest of my natural life, i gotta say that this show fucking rocked. Robo and Dez from Black Flag played with Doyle and Jerry, as did Marky Ramone for a few songs. In honor of the fact that it is their 25th anniversity, the first gig of the new tour, and to honor the memory of Joey Ramone, the Misfits aimed to play over 100 songs, and did it. They finished about 60 songs ranging from Classic and new Misfits material, plus old Ramones and Blag Flag material when playing with the corrosponding members while at Roseland. They finished the rest of the songs, including a short autograph session, at the after-party held at the WWFNY restauant. The first act started at 8pm. I didnt leave until after the final song at the WWFNY, which was about 4:30 AM. Definetly worth every penny i spent. "In my veins courses the blood of the ancients... | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | sorry, reading this post way late... i didnt make it to the concert, had to work, SUX, but i did manage to go to the after party(for seph and ado. mast., i was at the far left bar with a couple of my buddies)...the appearance of marky ramone definitely made it worthwhile..soem of the video clips were hilarious( the UNCLE FLOYD clips were classic!) all in all, a great little party.... official drunk driver of the fuck truck.... i'm still here sean...:-) | ||||
