Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	I know this topic has been thrown around a dozen times on this board in the past, but there always seem to be such a wide range of thoughts. Plus, now that it's been a fair amount of time since Napster became worthless, I figured everyone has had time to try a few of the alternatives and settle on a new standard. I've used Gneutella/Bear Share and I think it sucks (but maybe I'm just not smart enough to use it). I'm using WinMX right now, and it seems pretty user friendly, but I'm not finding alot of the soon-to-be-released stuff that was always on Napster. I don't know if this is because people are being more careful with pre-release copies, or if the "in" people are using another sharing program. I'm mostly interested in the Stone Temple Pilots upcoming release and I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on the matter. How would you feel about life...if Death was your sister? (Looking to get flocked)

O&A Board Regular Registered: Apr. 01	I've been using Aimster, and I haven't had any problems with it. However, it looks like they will be the next one to be shut down.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	My friends use AudioGalaxy. I haven't tried it yet. Napster isn't worthless. Just mispell band names strategically and you should get what you are looking for. Ex: Linkin Park=Lincoln Park, Weezer=Weeze I'm like a chocoholic, but for booze.
