Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	Check out Jersey's hottest cover band at these great shows this week: This Thursday at Park City in East Rutherford, NJ This Friday at Poor Billy's in Woodbridge, NJ This Saturday at Park City in East Rutherford, NJ This Sunday at Tradewinds in Sea Bright, NJ (show begins at 9 PM) All shows begin at 10 PM unless otherwise indicated. The Benjamins will be appearing on VH1's new show "Cover Wars" on July 14 (***that's this Saturday***) at 9:30 PM. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70	I was watching the fights tonight and there was a boring match on. so i tune on to see if there is a behind the music on and i see cover wars. i like the show and all of a sudden i hear "the benjamins." i was hey not gonzos band man and i am checking out the guitar player and i am holy shit thats gonzo man and i saw the wow sticker on the guitar. Dude i agree i am so sorry man the judges were way too fuckin harsh that fuckin chick had no idea about true musical talent. you had your fuckin structure down and your lead singer's voice blew the other band away and your drumer whiped the other guys ass man. You had great musical structure and it was all together man the other band looked like deer caught in headlights man. i was so pissed dude but i loved it man and you fuckin rock dude. It Is Only When You Begin To Fear Death That You Finally Learn To Appreciate Life. Because I Take No Joy In Taking A Life If The Person Doesn't Give A Fuck About Living. Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	Okay, here's the lowdown... What you saw was pretty much what happened...the judges said it and we played it right then and there...that's the rules. The only exception was the third round, where we were given a few minutes to choose a song from the list. The problem, I thought, with the show was that the judges' scores were very arbitrary, and the third round is flawed. But hey, I had fun, and I got on TV. With a WOW sticker. Here's a little info I plan on calling into the show with tomorrow. This did not air on the show. At one point Duncan Sheik said to us, and I quote, "I like that this guy's got a "Mom" sticker on his guitar." I'll tell more if I get on the air tomorrow... O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00	I'm not sure which episodes they are showing but Tuesday (tomorrow) morning they are showing 3 episods of Cover Wars from 8:30 am to 10 am. It's also playing Thursday at 5 pm which is probably the Saturday the 14th episode. How messed up is it that VH1 has become more hip than MTV? The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney
