Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | this should be cut down to a genre like rock albums or last 40 years ya know? Cause honorable mentions go the pioneers who came before the beatles created the "concept album" Because it was mostly just someone with a number one hit or two or three and they would take a bunch of songs written by others and surround the hit songs and make an album. Some people never had a defenitive album but special mentions to greats like Robert johnson, louis armstrong, billie holliday, frank sinatra, bing crosby, miles davis, chuck berry, jerry lee lewis, buddy holliday and on and on.
