Ok so we scored a gig at Lamour in Brooklyn and I'd like to see those of you who know me (and those who don't but like metal) to come and support my band. It's Sunday Sept 9th at L'amour in brooklyn. Doors open at 7, but I'm not sure when we are going on yet. Still waiting for the email. Now remember we are competing in a contest and there are gonna be some big named people there judging. And of course one of the categories is fan base and fan response. I'll post more info here as I get it. Thanks guys.

Wow this thread is getting better and better. I'm glad to see that you all will be coming. I got some more info, the show is $10 to get in and remember to tell the person at the door which band you are there to see (The Suffering). For the most part it's and all ages show (16 and older). Remember if you've got friends that wanna come out or what have you, by all means bring them along. The more the merrier. I wanna pack Lamour's to the ceiling. More to come.

Alright I got the list of other bands playing that night, well the cool thing is that they are all metal bands. Here it is:

  • Close My Eyes
  • Deathwish Foundation
  • In Spite Of
  • Pipebomb
  • Point Blank
  • Unitt 1

So thats that for now. Once again the doors open at 7 and once I found out (IF I find out) when we are going on I'll post that also. Oh one more thing, since it has alot to do with how many people you bring in, I have tickets to sell so when you get to the show on the ninth I'll be out front selling tix with our name on it and stuff. I really hope all who replied so far and more come out and support us. For any of you others reading this thread please come out and check us out if you dig metal. It'll be a fun time.

I'm going to do my best to come, but I am starting school that week and I need to see just how bad my course load will be since I am carrying 18 credits. Most likely I will be there. :)

By the way, are we all meeting before hand? I don't really wanna go in alone...

Ok for those of you who don't know where Lamour is, it's 1545 63rd st between 15th and 16th Ave. I'm not too sure what the name of that section of brooklyn is but I'm sure someone will know. I'm bringing this to the top because it's next week. If any of you know for sure that you are in fact coming, please let me know in this thread so I know how many tix to hold on to (Although you can pay at the door, but we get more money if you buy a ticket). Plus, the judges base their choice alot on how many people the bands bring in. I heard last week that one of the bands that qualified only brought in 8 people, but I wanna make sure that we have more than that covered. So, once again if you are definitely (or not) attending please post it here.

That's in the bay ridge area of brooklyn, easily accesable from the belt parkway.

I spoke with corpse and gonzo will do his best to come out and support his bestest friend.

To the top...

JBN, I need to know ASAP when you're going on. I start work at 11pm so the earlier the better.

FYI, Lamour's would really really like you all to think they're in Bay Ridge but we all know that it's really Bensonhurst hahahaha...

The thing is, all the acts will draw from a hat when they all get there to decide who goes when. So I can't really give you a specific time. But I can almost guarantee you that we will be on WAY before 11.
