| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01  | I HATE to keep this thread going but.....I have to say that I think you are missing the point knock. I am still a newbie here. I too have been around a long time (right around the same time you came here), but I did not see the need to jump in and contribute right away. I have been a listener for awhile and I know how the guys are, and I know that the fans of O&A respond to things in much the same way the guys do. Swiftly without mercy, or with TONS of sarcasm. Thus then, I thought it better to lurk around the board for awhile before I post. And when I finally did post, I made some mistakes, got yelled at, but quickly overcame that. The point that I think so many people are trying to make is that you fuct up and they are pissed. Not because you are not their buddy, but because they don't like what you are posting. I am no ones buddy, but I don't get tooled on because I don't say stupid shit. And if I do, I hear about it and I correct it quickly and then move on with my life. No one has ever called me out in FC because I am a dick. You are not so lucky. I don't really want to go on with this any longer, so let me give you some advice from some one that is a neutral party. When you post, read it several times before you post it. Think about every possible way that you can piss someone off with what you are writing. If you think that more then 25% of the board might get pissed off at your post, then just delete it. That is the best way to keep yourself out of hot water. I can't tell you how many times I've written a reply then deleted it because I was the only one that would get the joke. And dude.....like I said, I have no problem with you, and I didn't bash you in my reply, so just read this and take it as constructive, non-threatening criticism.
