O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00	It appears as freeservers has added themselves to the growing list of effin effers that no longer allow remote file linking. From their "free" pages anyway. I copied my sig to a yahoo group/club. I've seen several posts in the past complaining about yahoo hosted sigs not being seen by all board users. Is this still an issue? and, if so, any suggestions or reccomendations for a new host would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a duplicate thread. Long Live the "Syndication Underground"

O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01	Yeah it's still an issue with Yahoo Barch. There's some configuration that people can do to their browser to make yahoo pics viewable, but its' not a solution. It's just a band aid to the problem. If you truly want you pics seen by everyone, you'll just find a new host.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I don't think you can get a free Homestead account anymore. If you had an account before they switched to a pay system, they will honor it, but they bumped down the space you get (8MB, 1GB bandwidth). Free hotlinking hosts are dying, man - don't you have web page hosting with your ISP? A lot of ISPs these days will give you a certain amount of free webspace, that's what I switched over to mostly, but I still do have my Homestead account.
