| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01  | FTL, I looked back and saw that you use 'Homestead'. Unfortunately, you have to pay for it. Is there another site that I might use or do you host a site (or anyone else for that matter) that one might use to post a sig pic that I don't have to pay for? I have been using fbdling.... site on Geocities and haven't gotten a sig pic up for a long time. If ANYONE could help that would be much appreciated . . . and sorry for being a tool about computer shit. It's not like I killed someone. It's not like I drove a spitefull spear into your side. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | Yahoo clubs works but, most IE users have there stuff turned off by default. oaawite has posted instructions several times on how to correct that and, a lot of people here have done so. There's also freeservers but, they officially do not allow remote file sharing. It works but, it's kinda hit or miss depending on traffic. Almost all ISPs give you some webspace for a homepage. Sigs can be hosted there but, more often than not your name is in the url to your homepage. This may or may not be an issue for you. The last option is to find one of several board members that have servers that will host your sig.  Long Live the "Syndication Underground" | ||||

Usually your internet service provider will give you some amount of free webspace.... you might want to contact them and find out. I get 25 megs on Comcast. Otherwise, Yahoo is about it. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I'm currently using my old AOL page, but I thought homestead only charged if you wanted over a 2 gig limit? Speaking of ISP's, does anyone else here use RoadRunner cable? And if so, how do you set up your web page? I've tried with absolutely no results. They say its there, but I can't access it to upload anything to it. I haven't gotten around to calling them, yet based on the few times I have called them, I'd rather call a kid wearing a hockey mask on the shortbus for tech support.
