Any one else had any problems after installing total recorder it conflicting with the sblive cards (both value and platinum). After TR is installed i cannot open the surround mixer on the SB cards. Uninstall and the card functions normally. This was under W2K sp2 on p3 440 bx system. Thanks

Well I guess I was lucky that I couldn't find my LIVE! software.

I just installed Cool Edit.

I have checked their website and they said that they made it easier to navigate and find what you need. But they have no install for the Live!ware just the driver.

Yeah that's easier right?

I did have the Live!ware(platinum) running on Win2k before.

So maybe it's the service pack.

< lots of talk, no help... Sorry >

Thanks for the reply. Just to let you know i only install the basic drivers for the sblive cards as there are severe issues with liveware and win2k. (After installing liveware no more 5.1 sound) The only live programs that i install are Audio HQ, and the surround mixer. All the other crap on the cd is junk.

I'm totally convinced that everyone who works at Creative Labs should pass around the shotgun with the toe attachment.

I have an SBLive card. What a piece of crap!!! The line-in is severely crippled so anything recorded via that (O&A) is recorded at 1/4 the volume.

And I've never seen such a shitty pile of software packaged with anything. Well, MMJB was OK until it stopped supporting cddb. (Actually it's still what I use for recording O&A but that's it).

Hey, now that I think of it I got MMJB with my TDK CDR. So FUCK Creative!

Next major purchase will be a Turtle Beach card and some kickass speakers.
