Tampa over Minnesota
This one is a little iffy for me. Not sure Minnesota is quite as bad as they've looked.

KC over Washington
Jump all over this one. KC is a lock to cover.

Miami over St. Louis
Defense is key. Miami layin 6 might be a huge gift.

Green Bay over Carolina
Nothing special here. Green Bay's offense slows down a little, but they'll win easily.

Indy over New England
Huge spread, but from the looks of things, pretty safe.

New Orleans over Giants
Not convinced on the the Giants yet.

Pittsburgh over Buffalo
In an ugly win.

Atlanta over Arizona
Ugh.

Denver over Baltimore
The game's in Denver, so chalk this one up for the Broncos.

Cinncinati over San Diego
Call it a gut feeling. I'm betting Cincy keeps it going without a let down.

Jacksonville over Cleveland
Brunell is no Ty Detmer.

Oakland over Seattle
I hate the fuckin Raiders, but I can't deny they'll win this one.

Philly over Dallas
Ugh again.

SF over Jets
Sorry. Just a hunch. Don't think the Jets D can stop Garcia and Terrel Owens.

I could also use a little help with my fantasy team this week. at QB i could either start Trent Green against the Redskins...but he still has no recievers or Testaverde vs. the 49ers. don't like Vinny, but the 49ers always give up points. any advice would be appreicated

Its a tricky choice. In my fantasy league, I am 2-0, but Ive suffered through 2 horrible weeks with Trent Green (1 pt last week!!) However, he did play against the Raiders and the Giants, who have good defenses, and the Redskins suck. Vinny is going to get his points against the 49ers, but i think a big week is coming with Trent Green. Luckily i picked up Jay Fiedler on the waiver wire, and hes playing the Rams, so i dont have to worry about Trent again.

But, I would go with Trent if i were you, just my opinion.

the tough part about starting Green for me is I'm a Chief fan also...and they have sucked so far. i get to decide right up to 1pm on Sunday so I will probably wait to then to decide. I was leaning towards Vinny, but now you have got me thinking about it again....thanks for the advice though

You all said I was crazy when I picked the bears getting 10 1/2(even though they lost by a 1/2 point) & the Cowboys getting 9 in week 1.

So I am sticking with my picks.

Never bet against a home team underdog getting more then 3 points

You will win 90% of the games

That sounded like a project to me. So I did a little research and got out my folder from last year, so here we go.

Last year their were 46 games in which the Road Team was favored by more than 3 points.

21 Times the Road Team covered the spread.
25 Times the Home Team covered.

So the Home team getting 3 points was succesful more than not, but only by a 54% margin. Not 90%.

Who needs the Elias Sports Bureau when you've got me.

Damn its tough to be a genius and an idiot at the same time!! I was right on about the Trent Green thing, but i go ahead and start Fiedler instead cause i am retarded, and now im 2-1.

By the way, why does FB have to start a new thread every week about his own predictions when there is a thread started way before his? lol.

First off my thread is an Analysis. Not just predictions. ANd its meant for discussion of the Week's games before they happen and discussion afterwards.

And it has alot more substance, than 15 people just listing teams in their post.

like an ass i benched Green this week. i should have taken your advice. and what makes it worse is I need just about 3TD's and 300 yards out of Vinny to win this week. With Green's stats I would have won by 3. I know I'll start him next week now and he will suck ass again
