How times have changed when the words "At least we got a point" are echoed after a Devils game against the Rangers.

And I dont think its Larry Robinson's fault. He's not going anywhere, he's one of the best coaches in the league.

well i guess ur right FB, but usually when a teams losing the coach gets blamed, example : Ivan Hlinka(sp?) from pittsburgh, and the next game pitt won with there new coach :)

lol at least they got a point. WELL LADI FREAKIN DA! But in all seriousness, i will give the Rangers some credit, they out played the Devs last nite and won the game. If it was a cheap loss then id be mad but they won it fair and square. I jus hope the Devs get their shit together and start winning.

OK, well atleast they got a point. They are atleast making a step forward. But I am telling you if they keep losing it is only a matter of time before opie says how much they suck. then, the devils will start winning again. Hopefully they will beat the sharks tonight.

that could be a problem, but i don't think the coach or anyone for a matter of fact gives a damn about whos scoring unless they are winning, they could use some all around scoring but its hard to find for mostly every team in the NHL

It is a bit worrysome, but I would rather have the A-line out there scoring all the goals instead of no offense whatsoever like the Devils of old. That was the only thing that bothered me about the 1994-96 team. They were so great on defense, and that defense did give them a Stanely Cup (which I was there to see), but they were so weak on offense that a team could score 2 goals against them and wind up beating them because they didn't put the puck in the net that often. Anyway, 2 WINS IN A ROW!!! HERE COME THE DEVILS!!!

Man the Devils suck this year, they got crushed by my Penguins 5-1 and that's the last Devil game I payed attention to since October. We should just let this thread die away slowly before the Devils really suck and Ranger/Isle fans come in here and start a massacre. Devils suck.

The Devils biggest problem is not having a big time scorer. This team, in the last year of Ftorek and now the Robinson regime, was made and coached to play a more offensive game. Lemaire's trap is rarely yused by the Devs anymore. When Mogilny went up north, the devils lost a big peice of their team, bigger than anyone i think expected. The Devils have produced NO offense.

Louie had better get crackin' on getting the Devils a scorer, or this season may be unsalvageable by the Olympic break.

Holy shit, you mean to tell me that an actual Devils fan (Unicron) actually posted in this thread?? I thought all the devils fans curled up in the fetal position and disappeared. Your boys, and finally i can say this, are PATHETIC! Makes me feel good :). Hopefully the Rangers can rebound from this debacle of a loss created by the refs last night and regain 1st place...a place where the Devils wont be this year.

Fuck the Rangers, once the second half of the year comes along, they will go into their traditional post All Star Game slump. The Devils just need to wake up. We have a talented team, but they are just not working together, not working the way they are capable of. I tell you this right now, the Rangers are on a luckey streak. Other than Lindros, this team is the same sorry sack of shit they were last year, and Lindros is far from a saving grace for any franchise.
