| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | This incident made me sick. It was a disgrace to football. Farve is the biggest to blame because he did this too his team. He tricked his own team by saying it was a running play and then rolling out and taking a fl0p. But strahan also can be blamed. He didnt need to celebrate so much. This record no longer means anything to football. Some of you guys can say strahan earned it...no he didnt. He didnt deserve a gimmie. Did Gastineau get a gimmie in his record breaking sack season? no. Brett Farve's linemen are angered, and farve made a huge mistake. Even if you are a giants fan you have to know it is illegit. I think it would be interesting if the commish comes out with a statement saying it was not a sack because farve was in a running play. United We Stand Redskins Knicks Devils | ||||

All of his other sacks were earned fair-and-square, yes, Favre's a jackass for doing that but this whole thing wouldn't have happened if Strahan didn't come half-a-sack away from the record. You can't say Strahan didn't earn it, he is a great player. Almost everything ends in controversy anyway, get over it... | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Who the f' cares. Favre, gave him a gimme to get the record. Good for him. This morning I was on my way to work and I was listening to WFAN. This guy called up and asked Sid Rosenburg (remember him), and Jody Mac, whether they thought the Packers offensive line would try to get even on Sunday with Favre, by letting a guy slip in for a blindside sack on Favre. That has to be one of the dumbest points I have ever heard. Without Favre, Green Bay is lucky to get in the playoffs. If he goes down, the Packers can say bye bye. Why would you risk a potential serious injury to your best player, the one player who gives you the best chance to make it to the Super Bowl because he gave someone a gimme sack with the game all but over. Yeah, the offensive line was pissed because they did not want to give the Giants anything and did not want Strahan to get the record on them, but I am sure they forgot about it minutes later.  | ||||
