Tony and Mike talked about this story on PTI, and i found part of the story to post here for discussion. I'll say what Mike said, cause i totally agree with it. Someone better check this kid's birth certificates. 13 and he's playing golf better than Tiger this week, shooting a 65 to qualify for the tournament, and a 71 today, 1 shot worse than Tiger. I couldnt even swing a golf club properly when i was 13. Anyway, does anyone think this is legit?

Jae An, the 13-year-old South Korean who qualified for the tournament Monday, opened with an even-par 71. (New Zealand Open)
An earned his place in the tournament on Monday with a record round of 65 in qualifying.

Woods had trouble on the greens all through his first round Thursday, shooting a 1-under-par 70.

was he hitting from the same tee's as the pros? if he was, that's pretty damn impressive.

I missed PTI so maybe I'm diverting form the subject, but can he be as consistent as Woods?

Many have come close to beat Tiger in many tournaments (Garcia, May, just to name a few) but then fade away. You can be 13 or 130, if you don't have the unparallel consistency that he has had over his career (thus far) much shouldn't be made of it. Besides, if he sucked, no one would say a peep.

And why does age always seem to get lost in the translation with these foreign athletes?
