even though i'm sad that the JETS lost, im almost happy it happened because we can now get rid of that terrible QB, Vinny Testaverde...

Is it just me or does Richie Anderson fumble the ball in big games every year. On to the topic at hand, vinny. Good to see him go, hello Chad. I can't wait until next year, barring roster moves when Chad is in the pocket with Martin and Jordan as split backs. Thats a real running combo. Not Curtis left, right, middle, sweep, draw, left, left, screen, flat, post, fly, out. You get the picture.

TUNA'S ACTS OF PIRACY

Bill Parcells won't be able to hand Vinny Testaverde a new Buccaneers jersey, judging by the way Jet GM Terry Bradway was talking yesterday.
- NYP: F. Specker

January 17, 2002 -- With Bill Parcells now assembling his Buccaneers' staff from his personal headquarters in Sea Girt, N.J., before it's even been made official that he'll take over in Tampa, the Jets are bracing for fallout from the Tuna's latest celebrated return.
Four years ago, they were the beneficiaries of Parcells' long arms and stronger influence with regard to his former places of work as he stole Curtis Martin from the Patriots, orchestrating a deal that New England could not match and thus allowing Martin to become what he is today: the franchise.

Also, valuable Jets' offensive line coach Bill Muir is all but a goner to Tampa Bay as well.

As much shit as I've gotten for this prediction, I still say that if/when Parcells goes to Tampa, Drew Bledsoe will be their quarterback.

I also wouldn't be surprised of Terry Glenn ends up there too since the Pats will GIVE him away, and Parcells has shown that he can control Glenn.

Do you think that Robert Kraft and Bill Bellichick are going to let Bledsoe go play for Bill Parcells? I dont think so.

The Jets would have a better chance of getting him.

I think it's high time Vinny retired. But a revisit to Tampa Bay would be cool though.

Do you think that the Pats would even consider trading Bledsoe to an AFC team, especially on in their division? Hell na. They're going to be second guessed enough about which one of the two they trade, and won't make it possible that one of them knocks the Pats out of an opportunity to make the Super Bowl.

So Bledsoe's going to get traded to an NFC team. What team just needs that QB to make the leap -- a 30 year old one at that?

Chicago, Tampa Bay, maybe Washington.

Detroit, and Dallas are too shitty to make a difference, and will probably just stay with Batch/McMahon or Carter respectively since they actually put up decent numbers this year.

AFC East Team? No
AFC Team? Maybe if the deal was right.
NFC Team? Probably but not definetly
Bill Parcells Team? No, unless they are going to throw a bunch of #1 picks at the Pats
