Texas +1' over Texas Tech
I cannot for the life of me see why Tech is favored here. Texas is 9-0 against Texas Tech over the last 5 seasons. Last 2 years scores: 78-55; 73-56; 76-60; 72-59. Texas Tech have 1 starter returning from last season while Texas has 3. Is Vegas in love with Bobby Knight??? He sure as hell didn't make his team look good against Oklahoma on Saturday (and made me some money as well - thank you!).

And check out this little gem: since Rick Barnes took over as coach at Texas, they are 27-1 vs. in-state rivals. The one loss was in his very first game against Houston in the 98-99 season. That makes him 27-0 since then. Very impressive. I wouldn't be suprised if Texas is the favorite by tipoff. Make your bet early. Game will be on ESPN tonight.

No NBA play tonight. I was hoping that Dallas open as a 2-3 point dog. I still like them to win tonight. There are some great trends in their favor, but now the line is starting to run in their favor so I'll leave it alone.
GoodLuck
B.
PS Also going out on a limb. The Ravens +5 this Sunday Over the Steelers.

Are you planning on Starting a new Thread for every day you bet?

For future reference just add on to the last Handicapping Thread you made from last week.

And Take the Rangers 1 1/2 over Columbus to break out with a big victory.

Also take Syracuse to pummel Notre Dame at the dome tonight giving up 5 1/2

Both my teams I expect big victories from tonight.

Well I guess I take it back I cant find the old thread that you made last week, it must have been deleted for some reason. I dont know why.

Its a good thing I didnt put any money on the game, I would have been dying at the end where all Syracuse needed to get was a rebound and get fouled and then hit 1 free Throw to put it away.

Notre Dame got like 4 Offensive Rebounds in the last 30 seconds and couldnt score.

Syracuse had some good stretches but were not at their best and still beat a pretty fiesty Notre Dame team so thats a good sign.

And the Rangers are up 2-1 after 2, I feel confident we will add to the lead by the end of it, They have to start finishing. They should have at least 4 goals right now.

i hate this thread, granted i was right not to bet on the rangers with the spread, but it sucks that the same day this thread comes about, one of our guys break his wrist! Not good at all, we need this all star break to come ASAP!

with the whole losing streak and all I wasnt worried because every team goes through those funks.

But when you cant beat Columbus and you get outplayed by them when you are coming off a 6 game losing streak and need points, then there is some major problems.

I am officialy now worried about this team and if they dont straighten things out soon, god for bid we could be looking at another season of watching playoff hockey that doesnt include us.

Alright tonight is the Night the Rangers get it together, and the line is only 1/2 so take them.

In the NBA, take the Lakers to smack around the Heat giving up 7 points.

once again its a good thing I didnt put money on these games tonight.

Whats more amazing the Nets win by 44 or whatever it was, or the Heat beat the Lakers. I dont care if there was no Shaq, I still cant believe it.

Looks like just a matter of time before the Heat pass the Knicks.

Francine start betting against the Rangers. Maybe you are starting a new Opie curse. If you bet against them, they might start winning again.

I picked the Rangers twice against Columbus, what about the other 6 games in this streak? You cant blame me for that.

And because I lost 4 games this week my predictions sucks, yeah i would say thats enough games to make that comment.

2-2 Last Night ... Not to Good .
Thursday Trend Plays
Trends have been cold last few days. Happens every once in a while. Waiting for that big breakthru day to start another streak. Lets hope its today. Here are today's selections:

Seattle at Milwaukee OVER 197
Seattle 14-2 o/u playing 2nd of BB raod games and losing 1st game
Milwaukee 8-1 o/u after shooting AND allowing less than 40% shooting
Milwaukee 12-4 o/u after 4 straight games of forcing opponents to 14 or less turnovers

I also like Orlando and Phoenix to cover tonight but not enough trend support. Still looking at numbers.

College:

Oregon -6 over Washington
I see a Oregon DD win here, coupled with some nice trends:
Oregon 8-2 ATS this season after 10+ point win
Oregon 10-2 ATS after allowing 55 points or less last 5 years
Oregon 7-0 ATS after allowing FG% of 33% or less
Washington 5-15 ATS as home dogs

Basketball record:
NBA Nov/Dec ............68-41 (62.4%)
NBA January................24-14 (63.1%)
College.......................32-25 (56.1%)

Good luck,
B
