The new schedule is up at mets.com.

We face the Yanks and the AL central in Interleauge play this year.

You forgot to mention that they are opening season at home on April Fool's day.

Every year team sends Season/Package ticket holders some little momento with tix. This year they are sending a specially produced highlight video of their memorable return to Shea sept 21st - their first after the trajedy.

Shouldnt they have celebrated the 40th Anniversary thing, last year when it was their 40th season.

They celebrated the 25th anniversary in 1986.

I am sure Benny Agbayani doesn't think so.

Why not, it's about as accurate as putting the Expos on the schedule.......Or assuming that they will play at all this year.

Thanks to Brokenjaw for the sigpic

Moss should have given the ball to his coaches to spike, or at least invited them onto the field to take part in the celebration, because they were the ones who made that score possible. But don't tell that to Randy, it would only take away from the glory he believes he deserves for being as great as he is. Click here for the whole article

Well, since this April will be 40 years since they played their first game, they're technically right (just like 1963 was their first anniversary). But "41st season" just isn't as marketable, and I guess they have to do something to bring in the fans, in case they fail to actually win games.

To me I really dont give a fuck, im just saying that I still have the Hat from 1986 with the 25th Anniversary Logo, so theres some inconsistency here. But who cares.

With all the moves they've made, they better reach the world series at least. Afro American (or insert ethicity here)night won't draw me in if they ain't winning. :)
