Currently 16 point underdogs. Absolutely rediculous. The Pats swarmed Warner, Faulk and the rest of the Rams when they played in December.

There was a 14 point swing in the last 90 seconds of the first half when Antawain Smith fumbled in the endzone, and the Rams ended up getting 7 off the turnover, and the Pats still only lost by 7 in Tom Brady's 5th pro game.

This will be closer than (surprise, surprise) everyone on the planet is giving the Pats credit for.

This game will be one where the last drive decides who wins the game.

My prediction:

Rams= 100000000000000000
Patriots=17

or Rams=42
Patriots=17

F the Patriots. I hope they all get Aids and arrestes from the prostitutes on Bourbon Street and the rams win by forfeit.

I would have to take the Rams to win, but the Pats will cover the spread. The Pats have a real good shot and have been ruled out too many times. They are on fire right now and have a good shot to win.

Absoutely ridiculous. This spread is a joke. Easy pick on the spread, take the Pats. Im even going as far as saying that the Pats will hold them under 17 points. Patriots are the hot team right now, and are playing the best all-around football of the 2 teams left.

Final Score: Patriots 27, Rams 17

How are the Patriots the hot team? Their defense and special teams won that game yesterday. And it took the refs to give them the game against Oakland

No way in hell will the pats defnse hold the Rams. Beating the the raiders in a blizzrd with the refs help and beating an awful, non prepared, thinking ahead Steelers team, is not the rams. Bettis got 8 yards, do you really think they will hold Marshall Faulk to 8, 18, 80, 100. The guy is unreal. You know Warner will fell better and Aeneas Williams is alone on a cloud somewhere right now. The Steelers choked, that will not happen to the Rams.

TeenWeek.

Do you realize that the Pats have already played the Rams this year and held Faulk to 80 quiet yards and less than 100 as a team? They picked off Warner twice and Marts said that the Pats were the toughest defense they've played all year? Granted, Warner had 400 yards passing but they had to pass becuase they couldn't get any run game going. Faulk broke out one long rush at the end of the game when the Rams were running out the clock, and were it not for that, he would have had 40 yards rushing in the game. And despite the 400 yards, they still only scored 24. 7 of those were right after a deflating BS fumble by Antawain Smith on the Rams goaline 90 seconds before halftime. It should have been 17-7 Pats at halftime instead of 14-10 Rams.

Do you realize that the Pats have won their last 8 games in a row and 10 of their last 11? I'm pretty sure that the sports dictionary classifies that as "hot".

The Steelers choked? Arrrgghhhh. Blindness! How does an entire team choke. I can understand that one person can do poorly. But it is scientificially impossible for 40+ guys to all choke at the same time. Bettis got 8 yards on nine carries. Kordell sucked. Their vaunted defense didn't really do much. Their 1000 yard receivers were held in check on man-to-man coverage.

The Pats came out with a better plan. Just like they've done all year. But when the Pats swarm the Rams and surprise everyone by making this a much more interesting game, you're just going to say that "Warner must not have been feeling good", or the Pats were "lucky"

Luck doesn't win 8 in a row.

OAAWITE, I guarantee you that the Rams will win by 14 points or more and I guarantee you that Faulk will have over 150 yards of total offense and at least 1 touchdown. (receiving and rushing)

I also guarantee that Brady or Bledsoe, will get sacked at least twice and they will throw at least one interception that sets up a rams score.

I don't know if a mod sees this, make a wager of statuses, like if I win you get in your's I am teenweek's bitch and the patriots just like the rest of Boston sucks or anything they deem funny.

I'll give the pats some props because its not easy getting to the bowl. These days you dont have to be real good to get there just a little lucky which is what the pats are. Belichik will come up with a good defense to try and hold the rams down but I think the rams will still win by two TD's. I just hope the NFL makes the super bowl watchable. yesterday they make us sit through Sheryl Crow, Arnold Schawrenegger and 10 replays.

So you're going from 25 to a 14 point win in a matter of 24 hours? I guess you must have done some reading and realized that they're better than you initially gave them credit for.

Two sacks? 1 Int? That's not much. I also think that Faulk will get 150 yards and a TD. I would also say that Warner will probably throw for over 300 yards. The Pats defensive scheme has always been "bend but don't break this year". They had the 3rd best red zone D in the league and were 6th in points allowed.

Im telling you right now, this game will come down to special teams just like the steelers game yesterday. Granted, this was a year ago, but the Rams lost in the playoffs last year because of special teams blunders. There is a reason i picked Troy Brown as the MVP. He will have a punt return for a TD, and will have a huge day receiving, especially if Bledsoe starts.

Will be a good game, the Rams will have their monents, but the Pats shall prevail. Sucks that the game is in New Orleans, since they havent done good there at all.

Thank you. Rams will cover. If Brady plays though, Rams might not cover.

I have very little doubt the Rams will win. Its just a matter of whether they cover the spread or not. I think they will, so I'm goin w/ the Rams to win and cover the spread.

I don't see much hope for the Pats as much as I'd like to see a good, close game. I think the Pats can put up some points on the Rams, but I don't think they'll be able to keep up.

Rams 31
Pats 24

All of you suckers who think the Pats wont even cover a 14-point spread are going to be sorely mistaken. Last week, none of the media "experts" gave the Pats a chance. Deion Sanders was waving a Steelers "terrible towel" on the CBS pregame show, and the Steelers spent a day making Superbowl preparations, and Kordell Stewart was talking about how special it would be to go back to New Orleans, where he played his high school football. Last week's point spread against Pittsburgh (Steelers by 9) was the same Detroit (1-12) had against Pittsburgh. The no respect theme helped the team this week, and I'm sure it will motivate them once again. To win the last 10 of 11 games in the NFL you need more than luck.

My prediction is Rams 25 - Patriots 20.
Personally I want to see a blowout by the Rams to prove once and for all what a fluke the Pats are.
Granted they did have a good season and did deserve the #2 seed, but they have shown absolutely nothing in the playoffs.
They are definitely not the most deserving of the AFC this year.

Not being a fan of either team, I just would like to see a good, close game. Then again, if the Patriots win, I can brag that my sorry team (the Bengals) beat the champs in week 1, and then last years champs (Ravens) in week 2. (of course after that, as usual, we didn't do shit)

I agree that the Patriots have drastically overachieved this year, and I feel they will get destroyed by St. Louis,

But you cant say that they have done nothing in the Post Season. They went in to Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers, and bad call or not, they still made the plays they had to make to beat Oakland. So you have to give them credit for that.

It's just this simple. After every that's happened this year, if a pro-American team called The Patriots doesn't prevail, then the terrorists have already won.

OAAWITE, didn't the 2 planes that hit the World trade Center, come from Boston's Logan airport. They got a great security team up there.

Let's Go Rams!!!

Pats 31 Rams 28 and as for you teenweek bringing up the World Trade Center is absolutely wrong of you. I live in New York, and for you to even bring that up is really stupid.

Mets are going to win the World Series in 2002!!!!
