Its pretty obvious that he will not be with the team next season. Brady will be the man. So who needs a QB? Dolphins, Browns or the Bears? Rather then let him get scooped up in the expansion draft it looks like some quality player(s) and some draft picks.
I also wonder who will be swayed by the big money from other teams to leave. Remember Desmond Howard after SB XXX? Went to the Raiders and didn't do all that much for the cash they paid out.
Patiently waiting for Draft Day now.

I am a huge Drew Bledsoe fan, his talents are very special. I hope he ends up with a team like the Bears, who have a great running attack and have a pro bowl caliber receiver in Marty Booker. Plus, im sure he could make David Terrell so much better. Drew to the Bears = perfect fit.

Dolphins- No, for the same reason he isnt going to the Jets. Not trading him inside the division.

Browns- They have this guy named Tim Couch there

Bears- One of two teams with a serious shot.

The other team is the team I think he will go to. The Washington Redskins.

I still think that the Bucs are a viable option. Brad Johnson just isn't that good, and their team is getting to the age where the window of opportunity is closing.

Dallas. Bring him down to the Cowboys, we need a quarterback who knows how to play his position, plus we have a lot of cheap young talent to trade for him that can help New England's salary cap situation.

I think it was ESPN last night that mentioned Tampa, Chicago and Washington as possibilities.

My life has been a fascinating series of amazing exploits, about which I have many profound insights. But frankly, none of it is any of your business, so butt out!

I am with Froy I say the Cowboys should pick him up, and if not the Texans are going to need a QB with some experiance.

But the Texans would have to trade for him.

The Texans should pull McGinest out of the Lottery Draft and trade him back to New England for Bledsoe.

If the Pats wanted McGinnist they would have protected him. The guy makes $8 million a year but is always hurt.

The Cowboys i think have the best shot.

The Bears have a good shot. Other than that, i dunno. The Jets are commited to Pennington as "Quarterback of the Future!", which can only end horribly. Remember Browning Nagle?

Let's not overlook the Redskins either. Much cap-room and a QB guru at the helm. And I hate the Redskins....

Saw a headline on espn.com that bledsoe may be headed to the Bengals..actually could be a good fit. Couldn't read the article though, because it's an insider article and I don't pay for that service. Anyone else hear this?

I'm too lazy to make a sig.

Cowboys seem committed to Quincy Carter.
Bears or Redskins (or maybe stay with Pats 1 more year, to avoid cap hit)

He's not staying with the Pats.

I still say Redskins because Snyder and Spurrier will do everything it takes to land him.

There's nothing more dangerous for a team than to be committed to a shitty QB.

I think that could be arranged, and I am sure NE would love to use the money that would free up to go stregthen their team for next season.

You're probably right, but Pat fans should remember guys like Jeff Hostetler, Earl Morral, Craig Morton, etc - guys who led their team to superbowl after the starting guy went down. Hostetler was never better than Phil Simms, Morral not better than Bob Griese, and Morton not better than Staubach.

Also, what would the cap hit on Pats be? that is critical in today's NFL.

I would love to see Bledsoe go to the Bengals, but I really don't think it would happen. It would be nice, though.

There was a big difference there. Hostettler was a veteran who replaced the veteran Phil Simms.

Tom Brady is a rookie, and has his whole future ahead of him.

The Pats will trade Bledsoe to either the Bears or Skins (here's hoping the Bears). I will guarantee though that they will live to regret it. Tom Brady's true skills will be revealed next year. And the good thing is that the Pats play the Bears next year.

So you're still sticking with that theory that the Pats would have done just as good with Bledsoe as they did with Brady..

Did that violent hatred of Brady that you showed in some previous topics ruin the event of the Pats winning the SuperBowl?

There's no question that Bledsoe has a much better arm than Brady, but Brady just didn't make the mistakes that Bledsoe always seemed to. Bledsoe always seemed to take a sack by holding onto the ball way too long, and Brady just seemed to find a way to get it off to someone. However, Brady was sacked more than Bledsoe, so it's not like you can just say "the offensive line was better", it's just that Bledsoe's sacks seemed to occur at more crucial times.

Bledsoe also always seemed force balls in and throw a ton of interceptions. While aside from the Denver game, Brady was always accurate and just didn't make mistakes.

When the Pats trade Bledsoe, he might do well. Brady might start to struggle. But Drew was just never going to make the Pats anything more than average while he was QB of this team.

I hope my Cowboys can get Drew. Jerry Jones has the money to reel him in. Plus, the Cowboys also have Ryan Leaf.

The ignorance of the vast majority of New England fans kills me. They have to have the highest complete moron to intelligent fan ratio than any other fanbase in the country.

One of the columnists on espn.com said it best, Tom Brady is like Joe Montana "but without the talent". He took them down the field on the last drive and that was very impressive but before that he was mediocre at best. Yet, somehow he gets MVP instead of a member of the defense who were the reason they won that game, not Tom Brady. Of course, that is to be expected since everyone is blowing Brady nonstop.

Of course, Bledsoe made more mistakes, they put the ball in his hands more often and relied on him to throw the deep ball. Brady just threw the short passes. Bledsoe does have his share of faults such as the amount of time he spends in the pocket (the sad thing is that Rob Johnson is much worse) and him rolling out to the left on crucial third or fourth downs. But if you think that Brady is a better quarterback than him, you are an idiot.

And Bledsoe wasn't going to make this team more than average? Even if you are referring to this particular team, that is a stupid comment to make. What about the Pittsburgh game? They threw him into the specially designed for Brady offensive scheme and he performed about the same as Brady, and that was with being out of action for over four months. And don't even get me started on when the Patriots were winning games solely due to Bledsoe.

There is no further need to comment since I will just wait until next season when Bledsoe puts Brady to shame and hopefully finally shuts up the ignorant New England fans.
