I know that this one is going to be available on DVD whereas the others haven't. However, exactly what is going to be on that DVD?

I caught the tail end of a "commerative Super Bowl video" commercial today, and so I'm not sure if they are doing this already but....

Normally those videos are just highlights of the game, some other shit, and runs like 30-35 minutes. Just ueseless.

They have the DVD format. Why can't they utilize it?

Make it a 2-disc DVD.

Disc 1:
The entire game, unedited, uncut, no commercials, no halftime, no pregrame. Just from kickoff, to the trophy presentation. Becuase of the fifty cameras, we can control the camera angles, do instant replays from different angles. It would be fucking sweet.

Disc 2:
All the commercials, pregame predictions from the pundits, post game interviews, extensive season hilights from both teams that show how they got at the game, follow-up interviews with the important players/coaches in that game as they talk about certain plays, turning points, their initial game plan.....the possibilities are endless.

Maybe the outcome of this game is clouding my thinking, but how fucking sweet would that DVD set be?

That especially would be really fuckin cool. I don't really care about that game, but I'd buy it to see that. I doubt they'll be that smart when putting this dvd together though. Write'em a letter. Maybe they'll listen.

they made a world series and NBA final DVD. They'll probally make on the superbowl. It does take some time to drum up all those features. I really doubt that theyll include the WHOLE game. Maybe a sigficant portion.

I'm thinking that the Superbowl DVD Box set of all past games and future games would make the NFL a ton of money. There are so many people that would buy the whole series...gifts...gifts for everyone. Who doesn't like the Superbowl?

It's a great money-making idea.

It doesn't come out until March yet it already ranks #2 on Amazon.com.

If it has some more of what NFL Films recorded at the game it is definetely a good buy especially at that price.

The NFL is the only sport that records all it's games on film and I've always wanted them to put out a DVD just for that reason. Even I might get this thing just for the image quality.
