| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01  | The Knicks send Camby/Knight/and Jackson to Denver in exchange for Nick Van Exel and Raef Lafrentz Then Denver would ship Camby to the Warriors for Danny Fortson Then the Knicks would send Harrington and Ward for Marc Jackson(who said yesterday "Add the Knicks to my list" I wouldnt mind having a lineup of Van Exel/Houston/Sprewell/Kurt/Lafrentz with Spoon/Marc Jackson/Anderson/ and finally Eisley off the bench... What do you think??  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | you really think van exel is going to help that backcourt? they don't need another backcourt scorer. and lafrentz is just another inconsistent player they would have. so as a non-knick fan, yea i like it. getting marc jackson would help them though, i hope that doesn't happen. but if they did that along with the trade with the nuggets, i'm guessing he would just go to waste on the bench anyway. edit - if its true van exel would drop the final two years of his contract to be traded, making him a free agent, i guess that would be good for the knick because of all the salary they would be shedding. but you don't know for sure if van exel really said he would do that. The guy that i want from the Nuggets is McDyess. He would be a good fit there. Get rid of Spree if you have to, the fact of the matter is that Houston and Spree shouldnt be on the same team, and while i hate houston, they will never be able to move him. If that worthless fuck layden doesn't make ANY move, i dont even care what it is, by tomorrow night then it's safe to say he's officially the worst GM in the league. you could trade camby and spree for chris dudley and a 2nd round pick at this point and i'd be happy. just please god break this team up. what good would the van exel/lafrentz package do? so we could be the 5th seed or so next year and maybe make it out of the first round? i know they can't do this cause of their ticket prices, but how about rebuilding for a couple years and actually try and put a championship contender back on the garden floor. | ||||
