| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Personally, i would rather have a lot more tournaments like the Accenture Match Play championships that is happening this week. All of these matches have been great matches. The pressure is on for every hole played, and the focus is only on your opponent. The negative of Match Play is that the same people would probably be playing all the time, which could be repetitive to some people. However, i feel that is a small negative. Plus, there could be 2 different ranking systems: 1 for Stroke play, and 1 for Match Play, thus then reducing the possibilities of repeating matchups every week. Nothing wrong with Stroke Play, but i just find match play much more enjoyable to watch. Any other people have any thoughts on this? If youre not mainly a Tiger fan but are a golf fan, then i think you will enjoy tomorrow's final a hell of a lot more. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 02 | i agree they should have about 3 match play tournaments a year,they should make the PGA championship match play like it used to be.i like seeing the guys have to think about what shot to hit based on what their opponent has done,not just fire at the pin the whole time.Plus i think the nerves come into play more( Brad Faxon). Plus any tournament where Tiger is out in the 1st round is a good one in my book GO BUCKEYES !!! | ||||
