It has absolutely 0 effect on the Knicks.

If Jordan comes back, his rights still belong to the Bulls, but obviously Jordan is owner of Washington. Jordan would play for Washington but they would have to work out some sort of deal for compensation with Chicago.

Who are the 2 worst teams in the NBA? Washington and Chicago. So it doesnt matter. Even Jordan by himself wont be able to make those teams into contenders.

A lot of people have been saying that MJ has been really working out and practicing bball as of late. So some are speculating that it might be for a come back. But Peter Vescey said that since MJ had that cigar cutting incident where he sliced his finger pretty badly, he can really handle the ball that well, so he probably wont come back.

Jordan is the best and I think if he played for any of those two teams he will make them contenders next year he is the best dont forget that.

chicago is the team that couldpay him the most bec that was the last team he played for and according to the salary cap your last team could pay you 33% higher then the season before so he could make 40 mil a season in chicago and if he went to another team they could only pay him 1 or 2 mil under the exception rule. but he could play for anyone if he wants

One other thing that squashes the rumor is that Jordan has equity in the Wizards and would have to divest himself of ownership before he can play. He was able to do it once, but TWICE would be pushing it

He was younger the first time. My consipracy theory is that the baseball career was a ruse because the NBA wanted to suspend Jordan for the gambling allegations. Since he is/was THE MAJOR draw for the league they needed a way to get him off the court without calling it a suspension.

Trying to come back at this time is just a pipe dream. Knowing the type of competitive fire he has, I doubt he would come back unless he is at the top of his game this time (after the game shape he came back in last time)
